Where Did Everybody Go?

Two: The Nightmare

I put the ring on. It fits perfectly. I adjust the pillows so I sit upward. As the movie ends with Jessica and vector kissing James parents come in. I stop the movie.

"Well we should leave James." I sigh.

Out of nowhere James asks, "Can I spend the night Mrs.wells?" He must of seen my face light up because he smiles.

"As long as your mom says yes, it's fine with me." James gives his mom puppy eyes. I laugh at him.

"Fine but as long as they don't sleep in the same room. I don't want anyone getting pregnant." Me and James get a chuckle out of that. I say goodbye to his parents and return to the marathon. I start the second movie. I snuggle next to him and he puts his arm around me. I look over to my dresser and grab the tissue box. this is the sad one. As soon as I sit down, James kisses my cheek. Just a friendly kiss. I already start to cry. Its just so beautiful how their willing to die for each other.

4 hours later

As I finish the fourth movie I yawn. I have been yawning through the whole movie. I've already went though one and a half boxes of tissues. I have one thing to say. I'M TIRED! Good thing I don't have school tomorrow. James stops the movie.

"A good start to good movies. Lets go to bed. We'll the last five movies tomorrow."

"Okay," I lay down next to him.

"Wait don't you have to sleep in the guest room?" He breathe in deeply.

"Yes," he mumbles. He walks out of the room. I look at the time. 12:27 I better change. I just put on a tank top and underwear and go to sleep.

I wake up on a cold, hard concrete floor. I look up to see James all tied up. Next to him is Joesafin, the werewolf leader, from the vector vampire series.

"Where is Vector?" he says in a demanding voice.

"I don't know," I say calmly.

"Lier," he spits out.

"I seriously don-"

"If you don't stop lying, I'll eat your friend." he says interrupting me. He did this to Nina in the third movie.

"I'M NOT LYING! I DON'T KNOW WHERE HE IS!" I yell at him.

"Oh well," he says shrugging. He turns into a werwolf a dips into James taking a bit out of him. I scream and so does James. I watch the blood go down his shirt. He fits his jaw around his waist and sinks his teeth in his stomach. I never wanted to see this happen to my best friend in the world. He pulls his teeth out. All I see is blood and gore.

Joesafin turns back at me and says in a deep voice, "Go." He pulls a string on the back of James chair. I watch his limp body slump to the ground. He pulls a string on my chair too. I get up but I'm stopped by Joesafin.

"I will find you once more human," he scowls at me. I run out of the room. I keep running, without looking back. I stop running. I look around. I see nothing but blackness.
