LANDON

Wow, I did NOT see that coming with her choosing me and everything to try it on. I'll be honest too, even though the Moon Goddess sent home a book with me that mentions about the abilities Anna has and all.

I had informed everyone in the pack about it and they were all freaked out.

"Okay." I force a smile while trying to hide my fear while everyone else lets out a breath of relief that they weren't the ones who were chosen.

I notice Anna still grinning at me. Looks like her wolf has already told her something.

"Don't worry, I'll go easy on you." She smirks.

I take in a deep breath and then let it out before waiting for her to start. Although, after looking into each other's eyes for a few moments without saying anything, I was about to say something until I began to feel something.

Suddenly, I started to feel a migraine come on, or at least what I thought was one. Then the next thing I felt was a burning sensation, almost like what it would feel like if wolfs bane was coursing itself throughout my entire body.

I try standing there still while trying to tell myself this isn't real and wolfs bane isn't inside my body causing this pain, but I forgot, she prevents that from happening.

Very soon, I end up falling to my knees and holding my head while screaming in pain. Then I next slam my hands down onto the ground and then I don't know what or even how what happened next happened, but suddenly she stopped and as I looked up, I noticed she was crying and then her nose started to bleed.

Before she could fall to the ground, I quickly caught her in my arms and she passed out.

"Well, that didn't go as planned." Giselle comments.

"No. But we have to continue." I tell them.

"Well when do you think we can train her for the other stuff such as having her shift and the physical training?" Kavina asks.

"When she gets this down. Or at least until we can have a couple more tries. She has to learn to not over do it like she just did. Otherwise, it'll be of no use and she could get to the point where she might not realize what are her thoughts and what are from the others." I explain to them again.

They all nod in reply and as I look down at Anna as she looks to start waking up as soon as I take out my handkerchief and begin to wipe off the blood from her nose.

She finally opens her eyes and of course, doesn't remember too much of what just now had happened.

"What happened?" She asks as she holds the side of her head.

"You passed out after trying out your ability on me." I try and make a joke.

"Oh." She smiles. "So I guess I failed huh?" She asks.

"You didn't fail. It was your first try and in all fairness, you JUST now learned that you had this kind of ability." I try to briefly explain to her.

"Okay." She says.

"You okay?" I ask her.

"Yeah." She smiles with assurance.

Next we stand up and I help her up and then we go again. This time, Giselle and the rest get to have her try it out on them. She quickly had seemed to catch on but after a few hours, I could tell it had drained her energy entirely. So I called it a day and informed the others through mind link that we were through with the training for today.

We next then headed inside the house and while I had Giselle and them call for some take out, I had asked for Anna to follow me into the office and I handed her the book the Moon Goddess had given me as I sat down next to her on the sofa, several feet away from the non-lit up fireplace.

"Here. This book was given to me by the Moon Goddess and I have already read it and thought I would give it to you so that you could learn more about your ability and the rareness to your wolf. Everything soon will come back to you." I tell her.

"Thanks." She says. "Can I ask you something?" She asks.

"Anything." I tell her.

"Did I know about these abilities before I lost my memory?"

"No. None of us did. I'm sure though that your wolf was going to tell you but didn't get the chance." I tell her.

"I see." She says.

She looks and sounds as though something is on her mind.

"What is it?" I ask.

"It's just that, I've been thinking about how we're mates and how hard it has to be right now for you to be around me and even help train me when I don't remember me and you being mates. I mean, I can feel the pull and know that you're telling me the truth, but I'm just trying to figure everything out. And right now....." She starts to tell me and I decide to stop her.

"Wait." I interrupt. "Listen to me Anna. Like I said before, even if it takes forever for you to come back around, then that's how long I will wait for you. I don't expect you to put us as the top priority right now. I believe in the end that everything will come together." I try to reassure her with a smile.

"Thank you." She smiles a little bit.

"Of course." I reply. "But just promise me one thing." I began.

"Unless we are training, promise me you won't enter my mind to hurt ms or anything and that when you do come around, you tell me and let me know it's for real and you aren't trying to mess with me?"

"I promise." She smiles at me again as we remain sitting there, close to each other and both looking like we want to kiss but I can't not yet. I want her to remember us first. And this isn't some fairy tale where a kiss would jog her memory.

So she excuses herself and we head out to the dining room to eat lunch before heading off to her bedroom to have that talk with her wolf and to read some more about her ability and such.

She ended up remaining in her bedroom for  the rest of the night and didn't come down for dinner.

So we all headed off to bed and waited to see what tomorrow would bring for all of us.

Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
