CHAPTER 18: I Only Trust Anna

Yesterday was interesting to say the least. Although at the same time, I'm glad that she has her confidence back as I have missed it so much and find it to be one of the sexiest things about her. Today, I know that Anna wanted to ask the Moon Goddess about her new wolf and why what happened to her the other night had happened, but first, I reminded her that she had to wait until after we met up with Sheira's sister, Abby.

Giselle and Kavina didn't understand at first in why they couldn't come along with us but eventually I ended up having to explain to them that the Moon Goddess specifically had asked for me to bring only Elliot and Rockwell.

The four of us got ready and started heading towards the place we met up with the Moon Goddess at yesterday.

Once we arrived, we saw a woman who looked to be about 5'5 tall, with a petite figure and looked to be around the age of thirty. However, she also looked to be a little timid whilst standing there timid with her hair covering some of her face. Then as we looked a little closer, we see that she looks a lot like Sheira only a bit more fragile.

"Is this Abby?" I asked the Moon Goddess before scowling back at Abby again.

"Yes." The Moon Goddess replies. "After I returned back home last night, she came over to pay me a visit and as we got to to talking I explained to her what was going on and what was happening. She has offered her help." The Moon Goddess explained.

"We don't know yet if we can trust her or not!" I exclaim.

"I understand that you don't trust meand believe me, I wouldn't either seeing as to how much damage my sister has caused and done to all of you. Something you need to know is that the day she was executed, she had tricked me into helping send her soul into another's body the minute before she died and after she had already cursed everyone. I only did it because she had promised me that she'd be a better witch and person. She swore she'd stop doing black magic, but clearly not." She finishes telling us.

We are all surprised and taken back as none of us had ever expected this.

"But you still helped her. And why couldn't you have stopped her even after she was in a new body?!" I asked.

"Because she had placed a curse upon me and took away some of my powers. I tried to warn even of the Elders but they ignored me and...." She stops for a moment as she looks as though she's on the verge of tears. "They made sure I stayed silent about what all they were doing and for freeing my sister after she was captured by the head Elder."

Suddenly, all we hear is the light wind around us as we stand there still in shock at what all we were just told.

"If this is all true, then how can you help us when you yourself just told us that your sister took away your abilities?" Anna asks.

Abby and the Moon Goddess both look at one another for a brief moment and look back at us as Abby holds out what looks to be a big round geological flattened smooth royal blue rock that was the size of her palm.

"This." She says while showing it to us. "With this, we can make the rest of the council see what all had really happened when they tried 'experimenting'. It's part of a spell that kind of works almost like a video. It records memories." She says.

"Oh." Anna replies.

"So wait, let me get this straight, you're telling us that with that thing in your hand, all of the council can see everything and expose the wrongdoings of the Elders." I asked to make sure.

"Yes." Abby replies. "This evidence has been taken from my memories of that day."

"Excuse us." I request as I turn to Elliot, Rockwell and Anna as well and we step back a ways apart off to the side to discuss briefly if rather or not we should trust either one of them.

"I personally don't know man. I mean, I know she's Sheira's sister and all but who's to say this isn't some kind of a trick?!" Elliot asks with his arms crossed over his chest.

We next all nod our heads in agreement.

"What do you think?" I ask Anna. "As my mate and the Luna of this pack, you have the final say." I remind her.

She takes one more look over at Abby and the Moon Goddess before turning her head back to us and answering.

"I think we should accept their help but, not without conditions." She says.

I love her. She's so smart and sexy as well as bad ass tonight now by being all firm and strong. Get's my wolf excited at the same time too. Although it has taken him a while to get used to the new wolf.

We all smirked along with her before we start to head back towards them.

"Alright, we've come to a decision." I began and then I turned it over to Anna.

"We will accept your help. But if for one moment we hear or see that you are in ANY way tricking, trapping or doing ANYTHING like your sister, we will punish you and have you condemned for eternity." Anna warns Abby.

"Fair enough." She smiles a little and bows a little at Anna and I out of respect.

"As for you...." Anna starts now with the Moon Goddess. "Same will be for you if you betray any of us. Also, you and I need to talk." She says to her who then nods and since Abby was going to already stay with her for a while it seemed, she waited with us while Anna and the Moon Goddess went for a walk.

I still don't entirely trust the Moon Goddess, but I DO trust Anna!

Sorry I didn't post last night guys but I was really tired after a really long day at my job. Blahhhh. But....to make it up to you all, I am posting another chapter to this story in a couple of minutes and then posting one chapter for 'My Bully's Older Brother' and 'The Huntress And Her Alpha'.
