CHAPTER 25: Their Luna, My Mate!

We all started getting ready to head towards the council hall and the whole time, since she was taken, I kept thinking about Anna and all the possible things they had done to her.

I could feel certain pains in areas that made me believe they had hit her. I wonder if Isla has helped her get through it though and helped heal her.

My other thoughts of what I was worried about also was the fact that I was going to also see my parents.

I haven't seen them since that argument we had and I wasn't sure in how I was going to react into seeing them.

There was a knock on the front door suddenly.

I had Elliot answer it and there walking inside were both my parents. They looked like they haven't slept or eaten as much. They didn't look like the lively people they once were.

"Hello son." My father began.

Just hearing his voice made me feel both the anger I felt towards them still and yet can remember what Anna told me in needing to give them a chance to explain and suddenly both my wolf and I are put to ease as if Anna was right here in front of me.

"Hey." I greet them both back.

We both start walking into the living room and as they take a seat beside each other onto the couch, I take a seat in the chair across from them.

"We know you still hate us and are disappointed and want nothing to do with us." My mom begins. "We also know too that the Moon Goddess explained everything that had happened. However, there's no excuse for what we did to you and your mate."

"Yes well, it's done." I tell them.

"Landon. We did what we did to protect you and Anna because after we heard the council's plans we, convinced them not to hurt Anna and use her as an experiment like they did those many years ago. We thought at the time we were saving both of your lives but, CLEARLY we made it worse for the both of you." My dad started to explain.

"You may never forgive us and as heartbreaking as that would be, we would understand. We only came here today, to say that whatever happens, we want you to know that we love you and Anna just as much as your pack. We are proud to call you our son and her as our daughter. We wish the best for both of you." My mom finishes as she starts to cry and I start feeling a tear or two begin to fall down from my eyes.

There's a moment of silence between us as I begin collecting myself.

"I don't hate you guys. I was furious at what you both did and thought you betrayed me but, between what Anna told me and the Moon Goddess has said, I've learned not to hate you both. Though I can't forgive you right now, I want you both to know that I love you both and I'm lucky to have you both as my parents." I tell them.

My dad and mom wipes some tears that start falling down from their eyes away before half smiling at me.

We then all get up and I get closer towards them as they do with me and at first there is a little hesitation before we both begin hugging each other. That's when I begin crying a little more.

"It's gonna be alright son, I promise." My dad says.

When we pull away, I look at them both and we try to collect ourselves again before I suggest something.

"You both can start making it up to me and Anna with helping us." I tell them.

They both look at each other and smile really big.

"Of course. We were hoping so badly that this went well enough for you to allow us to help you." My dad says.

We all start filling them in on the plan and then we get into a couple of our cars and begin making our way towards the council hall.

I looked around the car at everyone with their significant others and has made me long for Anna even more. Then I couldn't help but smile. These were my family and friends that were coming to help rescue their Luna and my mate!
