"Darling, are you sure you don't need help?" My father, Jiraiya asked. As, he poked his head out of his room to look at me. I was carrying several boxes, filled with my stuff up the stairs to my room.

Why am I doing this?

Well, I have moved into Konoha and my father offered for me to stay with him, while I look for a job and a cozy place to stay. But, it's going to be difficult living with my father. I haven't seen him for years since I was fifteen when I came to stay the summer with him.

And, now I'm twenty-five.

I sighed and opened the door into my new room. I walked into my room, and there was a queen-sized bed that my father had ordered along with a TV, TV stand, and dresser.

I set my boxes down on the floor and stretched.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

I looked at the door and saw my father smiling. "Hey, darling." He greeted.

"Uh... Hey dad." I said, awkwardly, twiddling with my fingers behind my back.

"So, while you're settling in I'm going to order pizza, and get you some sheets. Also, a past student of mine is coming over later." He said.

"Alright," I muttered and went back to my boxes.

I heard him let out a sigh as he walked out of my room, closing the door behind him. I started fo unpack the first few boxes were my clothes and the rest were miscellaneous. My laptop, my journals, and my pictures of my mother and me.

After a while, of getting everything organized, I finished unpacking.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Hm? Come in."

My father opened the door. "Hey, the pizza is here." He said, with a small smile. "Oh, alright," I mumbled and walked out of my room with him. We walked to the kitchen and there were several boxes of pizza. Then, I noticed spikes of yellow hair behind the boxes of pizza. "Um..." I looked at my dad.

He looked over and gasped. "Oh right, Minato." He said and looked at me, smiling.

"Minato, come over here and meet my daughter."

"Yes, sir." 'Minato' said, getting up from behind the boxes and walked over to us.

I looked up at him, as it kinda felt like he was towering over me. And, wow. He's cute.

Minato looked at me and smiled brightly.

Oh gosh... I think I'm going to faint...

He held his hand out. "Hi, I'm Minato! Nice to meet you." He greeted happily.

I shook his hand. "Minato? I think I've met you before." I said.

He smiles and nods. "Yeah, I'm his student, well was his student. I have students of my own now." He said.

I nodded. "Well, I'm (Y/N) (L/N)."

"Right, Jiraiya always talked about you. It was really sweet when he—"

My father put his hand over Minato's mouth and chuckled nervously. "I'm sure, she doesn't want to hear that. She just wants pizza." He said, and smiled, removing his hand from Minato's mouth.

Minato wiped his mouth with a napkin. "Your hand smells..." He mumbled. I smiled a bit as a small giggle slipped through my mouth.

Minato looked at me and smiled at me, as I walked over to the stack of paper plates on the table.

I looked at Minato as he just stood there and my father was smelling his hand.

"Uh... So... How was your day?" I asked as I went over to the pizza boxes, opening the first box which was (favorite pizza).

"It was good, I dropped my son off at his mother's place today, so that means I have time to clean the house, go buy more ramen for him, and have some time to myself." He said.

I grabbed two slices of pizza and put them on the plate, and then looked at him.

"Oh, you have a son? What's his name?" I asked.

"His name is Naruto! He's cute and obsessed with ramen." He said and pulled his phone out and showed me a picture of his son, that looked like a miniature Minato.

"He is cute, how old is he?" I asked.

"He is three. Turning four on October 10th." He said.

"That's cool, well I won't be keeping you any longer, have fun enjoying your free time," I said and smiled at him.

I saw a faint pink color find it's way on his cheeks, but he shook his head, making the color fade away. I shrugged and looked picked up my slice and bit it.

"I... uh... Well, it was great meeting you, (Y/N)." He said and smiled brightly at me.

I felt my cheeks heat up, from his handsome smile.

"It was great meeting you too, Minato."

Minato says goodbye to my father and leaves.

My father then looked at me, as we stood in awkward silence.

"So... (Y/N), what's the first thing you plan on doing?" He asked.

"I uh... well, I'm planning on trying to land a job, hopefully going to school for marketing would be helpful in landing a job. But, it's going to be difficult, since mother kind of got my last job and I suck at interviews." I sighed and took another bite out of my first slice of pizza.

"But, do you want to do something in marketing? What other skills do you have?" He asked.

"Well... I like to draw and design stuff, I'm actually... Decent at drawing, but mother always said my drawings aren't going to get me anywhere, so might as well get a degree in something her choice."

"Well... You know, your mother isn't here anymore, so just do whatever you want. But, pfft, I'm just an old maaannn, I don't know anything." He hummed and smiled.

"Oh, I'm going to be leaving in a few hours, so here you'll need this." He said, and pulled a key out of his pocket and held it out to me.

"Oh, thank you," I said and took the key. "Where are you going?" I asked.

"A journey, a journey of studying for my new book."

"You write?" I looked at him curiously.

"Yes, buuutttt if I told you what I write, I don't think you'll like me anymore." He said and let out a nervous chuckle.

I nodded and just left it at that.

"Well, I'm gonna go to my room. Call me if you need me." I said and went upstairs.

"Okay! Bye, sweetie!" He shouted.

I sighed and went into my room, closing my door.

I don't know if I'm going to enjoy living with my father. But, hopefully... We can grow closer and I will enjoy living with him.
