{2} When You Meet Again

I sighed, as I looked at my phone hoping for someone to call in or a notification that I've been called in for a job.

I don't know what to do. What job should I do?

I looked at the picture of my mother, that was framed and placed on the dresser.

"Mom... Tell me what to do. I'll always listen to you. This is why I came here. It was your wish I moved to Konoha. You didn't tell me what you wanted me to do. Just where to go." I muttered and shook my head, hopeless and clueless.

I ran my hand through my hair as I got up.

I should go to the store, get some candy or something.

I grabbed the house key set, that was connected to a [Favorite Marvel or DC character] keychain. I grabbed my zip-up black jacket off my doorknob and slipped that on. After I left my room I went downstairs and to the front door. I quickly slipped on my shoes and opened the door. I locked the bottom lock and walked out the door.

I then started to walk away from the house, that I was currently living in.

I glanced at my phone, to check the time and look at the game notifications or social media notifications, which causes my phone to buzz. I sighed and swiped away all the unimportant notifications, I kept some up, emails mainly.

The emails were containing information on the job requests I have sent out, along with my resume.

I applied to numerous jobs, but it doesn't seem like they want anything to do with me. Not even an interview. I shook my head and stuffed my phone

After around an almost forty-minute walk, I arrived at the store. I walked inside and grabbed a basket. I then headed straight for the candy aisle, I looked at all the delicious treats, I hummed and grabbed some bags of my favorite assorted candy.

"That's enough candy to last awhile. Now some snacks and some stuff to make food with." I mumbled to myself and went to the aisle where it contained snacks. I looked at the different chips and small snacks, that I could pick. I then came across cupped ramen noodles. I picked up a few and put them in the basket.

"Excuse me, can I get by?"

"Oh, sorry my ba--"

I stopped myself as I turned around and looked at the person behind me, Minato.

"Minato?"

"(Y/N)! What are you doing here?" He asked as I stepped out of the way for him to grab the cupped noodles.

"Oh, um just stocking up on food," I said, "what about you?"

"I am grabbing more noodles for Naruto." He replied as he grabbed some cupped noodles. He then turned towards me and I saw his eyes glance at my basket. I gave him an awkward smile, "I uh... Am just getting sweets... But, I'm also getting some stuff to make for dinner." I muttered.

He chuckled and nodded, "it's alright. What do you think you're gonna make?" He asked.

"I'm thinking about making some Tonkatsu with rice," I told him.

"Oh really? That's amazing! If you have leftovers, maybe I can try some!" He said, playfully suggesting the idea.

I giggled and nodded. "Yeah, I'll tell you," I said.

He smiled brightly, "good! I can't wait!" He chirped happily.

I nodded again and looked away, I didn't really have anything else to say to the man.
