{7} When Jiraiya Makes Dinner For You and Minato

I let out a relieved sigh as I finished the last of the freelance work I had to do for a CEO, they wanted me to design a website and images for a recruitment flyer for their up and coming business.

It took a while to finish, but I did it!

I leaned back in my desk chair and stretched my arms.

My eyes were strained from staring at the computer, all night.

Actually...

I opened the curtains, and it wasn't even night anymore.

It's morning!

I looked at the time on my desktop and saw that it was 9:40 AM.

Bzzz. Bzzz.

"Hm?" I hummed out, curiously.

I looked at my phone and saw a text notification. I clicked it.

Dad

Open the front door!

9:41 AM

Huh?

I got up and left my room, I went downstairs and to the front door. I opened it and there stood my father, with bags of groceries stacked in his hands.

He peeks behind them and smiles, "Morning."

"A-Ah, Dad, let me help you!" I told him, taking some of the groceries, to lighten his load.

"Thank you! You're so sweet." He said as he followed me to the kitchen, closing the door behind him.

"I didn't know you were coming back today," I said, placing the bags down.

"Well, I had enough research. And, thought I should come back, spend some time with you!" He told me.

I nodded, "Well, alright."

"And! I called Minato, last night, discussed having dinner, I will be cooking, the dinner of course!"

"You can cook?" I asked as I pulled the groceries out of the bags.

He says, "Well, I am famous with the women for more than one reason."

"I didn't need to know that," I muttered.

He chuckles and says, "I'm going to make a feast! For you, my future son-in-law, and my future grandson! Well, I already consider him my grandson, but never official until you two marry~."

I felt my cheeks turning red and said, "It's too early to even be thinking about marriage, we just became official last month."

"It is never too late to get married! You're twenty-five, time to get married, sweetie." He told me.

"Aren't you fifty-something and not married?"

"We are not talking about me!"

I smiled and laughed softly, which made my father, stop and stare at me.

I looked at him, "What is it?" I asked.

He suddenly pulled his phone out and started to take pictures of me and says, "I missed so many years of your life, I have to start a Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and even a Snapchat dedicated to my baby!"

I covered my face, feeling embarrassed, and said, "Dad... Please stop."

"Keep it up! So cute! Really cute!"

I blushed, embarrassed, and shook my head.

He finally stopped, and said, "So proud!" He then looked at his phone and says, "Oh, Naruto can't join us, Kushina came and picked him up early. It'll just be us three."
