Helping Out

Heewon's POV

       It was time for student to leave so I packed up and lefted with my friends. When we were about to get out of the classroom, there was a bunch of girls crowding around the door and screaming. Probably because Wooshin was in our classroom and those girls were his fans. 

       It was really hard to get through the crowd since there were so many girls. Finally we made it out, which took forever to. Nara, Jieun, and I decide to hangout afterschool today at a fast food restaurant that we usually go to.

       When we arrived there, we took our orders and started talking about life and random thing that we can think about.

"So, how's your boyfriend?" Nara asked Jieun.

"He's great, he treats me nicely and cares about me a lot. How about you?"

"Well, he is confusing sometimes. He acts like he's cold and acts like he doesn't care much but he is actuall really sweet but doesn't want to show it, which I find really cute." Nara replied.

"Ha! Can't relate! I'm single and never going to be ready to mingle." I just smiled and put up a peace sign.

"You really should get a boyfriend though, you're already a Junior and haven't had your first boyfriend nor kiss yet." Jieun said.

"Yeah, I agree with her. You're going to grow old, missy." Nara agreed.

"Yeah. Yeah. Whatever." I said.

I took a sip of my strawberry shake and saw a lady struggling to carry her food to her table since there was a lot of food.

"I'll be back." I said and walked to the lady.

"Do you need help?" I asked her although I already knew that she did need help

"Oh, yes. Thank you." She said as she handed me her other tray of food.

We took it to her table which was near our table and placed it down. There was a man sitting there and just playing on his phone.

"Honey, I got the food." The lady said to the man.

"Okay." Was all he said.

       She was probably with him which makes me wonder why he didn't help her get the food and made her get it herself. I mean I shouldn't worry too much right? Cause its not my problem.

       The lady thanked me again before I went back to my table. I sat down and continued eating my fries.

"Wow! You so nice Heewon. Helping out strangers." Jieun said.

"I don't know if that was a compliment or not but yes I know I'm nice." I said.

"Don't worry, it was a compliment." Nara said.

       After a while, we decided to leave but Nara and Jieun needed to use the restroom so I'm just waiting for them two. While waiting, I was looking at the table where the men and lady from earlier was sitting at.

        I noticed that the man was making the lady really uncomfortable by touched her on the thigh. She kept on telling him to stop but he didn't and just continued.

"Excuse me, but I think that you are making her uncomfortable." I told the guy.

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" The man asked.

"No."

"Then stop getting in our business if you're not involved." The man said angrily at me while standing up.

"Honey, it's okay just leave her alone." The women tried calming him down but he just pushed her away.

"Mister, I'm just telling you to stop. There's nothing to get angry about." I said to him.

"Tsh. Kids these day, does your parents not teach you anything?" He yelled at me.

"No, my parents did. They also taught me that if a man touches a women without her consent, I can always report that man to the police. And you don't want me to do that, would you?" I smirked at him.

"Y-you! Where's your manners, young lady?!"  He screamed at me again.

"So like, do you want to get out of this restaurant right now or should I call the police first, kind sir?" I asked sarcastically.

"Whatever, I never really like that women anyways." He said and went out the door.

"Thank you so much, again. I was really uncomfortable with him and didn't know what to do. So thank you." The lady thanked you.

"No problem, I just wanted to help out because I was uncomfortable seeing him do that." I said and smile to her.

"I'm Mrs. Kim, what's you're name?" She asked.

"My name is Heewon. Oh, here's my number. If that man or any other man try to do anything to you. Just call me, I can help. I may seem not that tough, but I learned wrestling and karate and that is really helpful sometimes." I said as I gave her a paper with my number on it.

"Thank you. I have to go now, it getting dark already and you should too." Mrs. Kim said

"Okay I will, drive safe and have a good night." I said bye to her then she left.

"Wow, you helped the same lady twice today, isn't that amazing?" Nara said.

"Sure." I said as we headed out too.

'What a day. So much things happened today, but I feel great for helping Mrs. Kim out. But I wonder why she was going out with that jerk, she was really beautiful and seemed nice while he was rude and ugly. Since she was a Mrs, doesn't that mean that she's already married? I'm thinking to much again. I probably should go to sleep now, I have school tomorrow.' I thought to myself before falling to sleep.
