He's Different //Wooshin// (Completed)

New Roommate

HEEWON'S POV

       After I arrived at the academy, I brought my stuff and went to my new dorm. I knocked on the door, but no one opened it so I just waited patiently. I knocked again after waiting 5 minutes and the door finally opened.

"I'm so sorry, you must be my new roommate. I was on a call with my brother and didn't hear you knock. Come in, you must've waited for a while." A girl said.

"My name is Minsook by the way. What's yours?"

"My name is Heewon." I said and bowed.

"Oh, no need to be so polite. We're roommates so we should be comfortable around eachother. But why does your name sounds so familiar?"

"I don't know, I'm pretty sure that we've never met before." I said.

"Well, I hope that you don't mind but my brother is coming later to pick up something here. Is that okay with you?"

"Of course. It doesn't bother me at all, he can come." I said.

       After Minsook showed me around the dorm, she helped me unpack my things in my room. I was luck that she was my roommate because she was really kind and I was scared that I was going to be with someone who would hate my guts.

       Right after we finished, the doorbell rung. I'm guessing that it was her brother.

"Heewon, can you please go open the door? I have to go get my brother's stuff."

"Sure." I said and got up.

       I opened the door and was ready to greet him but when I saw his face, I was shocked.

"W-Wei? You're Minsook's brother?"

"Yeah. And you're her new roommate right?"

"Yep."

"Why didn't you tell me that you were moving? I didn't even know until this morning when Wooshin was crying on the phone." He said in a sad tone.

"I'm sorry, I was scared that you would tell Wooshin if you knew."

"It's okay. I forgive you. But you should know that Woosin isn't going well with this 'surprise' that you gave him."

"Wei!! I missed you!!" Minsook said as she ran to him.

"Really? But I don't." He said jokingly.

"Tsk. Of course I do. I haven't seen you for two years now. Here's your stupid basketball jersy that you ordered me to make." She said and threw it at him.

"Thanks, sis."

"Don't sis me. But do you two know each other? Cuz you two had like a full on conversation earlier."

"You don't remember her? She was the girl who help you at the park when you were in 4th grade." Wei said.

"Oh! The girl who shooed away the two boys that were bullying me?"

"Yep." He answered.

"How do you guys still remeber all this when it happened long ago?" I asked.

"Well, because that was when my brother started liking you."

"W-What?" I said shocked.

"Oops. Did I say that out loud? Hehe.... exposed."

"Yah! Why did you say that?! I don't like her anymore because my friend likes her now." Wei scold Minsook.

"May I ask who?" Minsook asked.

"Wooshin, so shut up."

"Okay gosh. I have to go pick up my food from Fire Wings anyways. Bye." She said and left.

"Just pretend that you didn't hear anything, please. I dont want to make things awkward between us." Wei said.

"Okay. But what you said about Wooshin liking me, is it true?" I asked.

"You haven't noticed? Wooshin actually really likes you. But he wanted to wait until the 'surprise' day to ask you out, but you left."

"Aw, now I feel bad. What do I do?"

"Tell him that you like him back."

"I can't do that. I'm pretty sure that it's too late now. He's already heart broken, he wouldn't accept me anymore."

"He would accept you back. You just have to try."

"What if he gets tired of me, like all of his ex-girlfriends? I don't want to risk it."

"I guess there's no way for me to convince you. I have to go now, I have basketball practice." Wei said and stood up from the couch.

"Wait. Can you please not tell Wooshin that you saw me today? I don't want him to know."

"Why? But--"

"Please." I begged.

"Okay. I won't tell him." He said and left.

       It would be better if I leave Wooshin alone and let him move on, right?

       Only if my parents understand that I don't want to take over their company. Only if they would stop controlling my life. No, only if they didn't arrange me with their friend's son when I was younger.
