"Bye, Jen! Have fun on your date!" I call on my way to meet my friends at the bus stop.  Mr. Sparks is taking Jen out after school today.

"Thanks, I will! Is it weird to you for me to date your teacher?"

"A little, but the spark is definitely there between you two - no pun intended!"

"Haha, good one!"

When I arrive at the bus stop, Layla and Will are there, as well as Zach and Maj. Will and Layla are officially dating now, and while they deny it I'm pretty certain Zach and Maj are as well. As the best friend, I just have this feeling.

Arriving at school is starting to feel refreshing - I think I've almost got this high school thing figured out. At least the high school thing, not the whole superpower thing.  Not quite yet.

"Later heroes!" I call to my friends as we part ways for the day.  It seems that their joined effort in saving the school and defeating Gwen/Royal Pain has gotten everyone thinking of sidekicks differently, and in a good way.  Suddenly it isn't heroes above sidekicks, its heroes and sidekicks standing together, working together, which is what it always should have been.

Crash!

On my way to class from my locker I round the corner and smack right into someone.

"Oh! I'm so sorry-" I begin, but when I look up to see who I ran into,  I stop.

Big surprise.

Warren smirks down at me.  "Now that was on purpose."

I roll my eyes.  "So you're just going to plant yourself in my path now, are you?"

"Maybe."

"Okay, but if I knock you over, it's your own fault." We start walking to class together.

"My mom was asking about you, you know," he says.

This makes me smile - Maria is so sweet. "Oh, and, what did you tell her?"

"That you're weird as usual."

"Oh yeah? And what did she have to say to that."

"'Be nice, weird is wonderful.'"

"Well, I definitely agree.  The best of us are weird."

"Well then, you're definitely one of the best."

"Are you flirting?"

"Maybe." He winks.

"Is it on purpose?"

"Definitely."

We both take our seats smiling.

At lunch, we all move to sit at Warren's table, which Ethan still calls the 'Tough-guy Table'. I call it the 'Sidekick-Heroes Table'.

Warren doesn't complain about us joining him anymore - I guess saving the school and stopping a famous villain really brings people together, clearly.  I'm glad to see him join our friend group.

Well, the first term here at Sky High has already proven to be quite the adventure - I have a feeling the rest of our time here will be the same.

(Cue Heroes by David Bowie! ;) Haha! Well, there we are, that's the end! Thank you so much for being such a keen and interested audience - even though it took a really long time, I'm glad I followed through and finished this story.  Your continuing comments really helped motivate me to finish this story and were always appreciated! :) It wouldn't have been possible without all of your support, so thank you!

I hope you enjoyed overall! :) Bye!)
