Chapter 6

The next day I went to school with puffy eyes. Yeah that's right I cried  a lot yesterday night. People may think that i am over reacting because not all parents are protective like this. But the thing is, this is not called 'being protective' instead she just doesn't wants to see me happy. That is the actual reason behind this. She is my stepmom.

My mother left this world when I was born. But I don't hate myself because of it. My dad then married my stepmother and she is treating me nicely. And then my Dad passed away leaving me alone with my stepmom. Just the thing is that she doesn't wants me to go anywhere far away because apparently she thinks that i will meet new people and I will change and leave her. She doesn't wants me to leave her because then she will not get a part of the property which is on my name. But I believe everything is meant to happen and that this may lead me to something or the other. May it be good or bad.

I reached the entrance and then I went into my class after putting my stuff into the locker.

"Yah Lalice, did you ask your Mom about the trip?? What did she say??"

"I asked her, Chaeyoung. But she isn't letting me go"

I could see sadness in her eyes. She was disappointed.

"I am so sad, Lalice. I wanted you to come there with me. With whom will I talk there, huh?? "

"I know, Chaeyoungie. Even I wanted to come. Anyways you can talk to Tzuyu and her friends I guess"

"Are you kidding me!? I will never ever talk to them. They are literally the definition of bitches"

I giggled on that.

"Yah anyways did you hear about Tzuyu and Jungkook??"

"No. What happened??"

"They broke up. But neither of them are affected by it. You know they never liked each other in the first place. It's just they are the Kingkas and queenkas so you know..."

"Oh. Ok"

I didn't know how to respond to that like should I say "omg really!? I loved them together" or "Wow i hated their relationship in the first place" ??

After everyone came including Jungkook😧 the class started. Jungkook was throwing paper balls at me even when I was literally sitting beside him.

"Hey, sweetie; ) "

"Don't fucking call me that, jerk"

"Aww is my sweetie angry?? Anyways did you ask your Mom about the trip?"

"She said no and why do you want to know about it??"

"Because I have to make our list and give it to the teacher, dumbo"

Oh. I am seriously a dumbo to think that he wanted me to come.

"And why did she say no??"

"Because 1. I have never been alone to a far off place and 2. She thinks I will meet new people then I'll change and leave her all alone"

He giggled.

"Wow you are what I thought you were"

"What do you mean??"

"I knew you would listen to your Mom in the first place. I knew you would let her come in between you and this trip. And you did exactly what I thought you would do"

He scoffed at the end.
What the fuck!?!?  How did he even think like that? Well I guess I just give those types of vibes or something.

After some time the bell rang and we all headed towards the cafeteria.
Me, Chaeyoungie,BTS, Tzuyu and some of her friends started discussing about the trip. Yeah Junkook amd Tzuyu are still friends and they still flirt and all. I was feeling left out because all of them  were going there on the trip while I will be sitting here and studying.
I guess Taehyung noticed it

"Hey, Lalice it's okay. Maybe she just wants you to be safe"

There's no point in telling them why she is doing this because they will not be able to do anything. I kept my sadness to myself not wanting to spread it to anyone since everyone was so happy especially Jungkook.

What is it with him and travelling??

After school ended we all went home. I heard that all the seats in the train were occupied. Apparently we had to sleep on the bunks they had in the train.

I didn't talk to anyone that night. I kept thinking about the trip tomorrow. All of them will be by the railway station till 8:00 am. Jungkook's words kept ringing in my head

" I knew you would let your Mom come between you and this trip. I knew you would not come"

I don't know but I suddenly thought about this idea which even I am not sure about. But I will do what I want to do this time. I will not listen to anyone. If you really want something then nothing and no one will or should come between you.

So I did it.
