Chapter 25

After Jungkook left he went and sat under a tree with some of his friends. He went there purposely so that he can not think about it anymore but it happened the exact opposite. He can't help but think that the kiss just felt so right. Like that was the only thing he wanted. The way they were in sync with each other and not to mention her sweet perfume with a hint of vanilla in it just to make it more mesmerising.

Before he could clear his thoughts away Lisa came there and his breath hitched. She just looked at him and smiled sweetly. Jungkook returned the smile and he started moving towards her.

"Bambam.....left..."

Before she could continue further Jungkook stopped her

"I love you"

She was taken aback at that time.
Goosebumps were all over her body. Even in such a situation she managed to speak.

"Really?"

"I love you"

Lisa knew that Jungkook has had a playboy reputation and he still has some of it. But after she looked in his eyes, she could feel the sincerity from those words. She trusted him. She knew that he wouldn't just say that if he didn't really mean it. And that was it to assure her.

"I love you too"

Jungkook was moving a bit more forward so he can kiss her but she moved behind a little. It confused him at first but then he thought that maybe she's still not comfortable so he took her hands instead and pulled her towards him to dance.

"The thing is that...."

Lisa was not at all uncomfortable with him. She knew that Jungkook still didn't know the meaning of them loving each other. How it will clash in their dreams and their daily life. But she knew it was her responsibility to first let him know about the things that may happen if they actually start living with each other. After listening to her it's his choice after all. She's not gonna force him in to anything.

"I love you is just a beginning. Then what happens, kookie?"

"What happens, Lisa?"

"Then those two people cannot handle those three words"

There was a pause for some seconds until Jungkook understood what she wanted to say. But instead of leaving her there alone he instead tightened his grip on her and pulled her more towards him until they were hugging.

"Let's not talk about this"

He genuinely didn't want to talk about it. He was feeling happy and he didn't want to ruin it.

"Kookie, please let me go"

"No"

"Please...."

She didn't want to hurt him by making him more attached to her. She knew this wouldn't work out since their dreams were very different and their current situations.

"No"

But his response remained the same. He just wanted to hold the girl in his arms, close by him. It just felt so good.

"Kookie, I'm a simple girl, I want to live a simple life. You're not wrong.......you're just very different from me"

This made him remember when he had said this same dialogue to her.

"Please let me go"

"I can't"

He genuinely couldn't. He just wanted to be with her all the time.

"Then don't go to Paris....don't take this job you've been dreaming of your whole life. Don't travel. Because I can't go with you. Mom, Dad, clinic....everything is here. How can I leave?"

She saw that Jungkook couldn't answer to her question.

"Okay.....you come visit me twice a year...and no funny business in Paris! After a few years you move back here....."

"Lisa I......."

"I know! I understand you, Jungkook. I know what your dreams are....what you want from life and that's why.....we should forget each other"
"Bye."

"Don't go, Lisa. This......feels nice"

"That's why I have to go"

She had made up her mind that she's not gonna hurt this boy who was her everything.

"Five minutes"

"Kookie......"

"Please.....five seconds"

After some time she let go of him and then the boy could see tears on her face while he was just numb.
She left him and went to her room while he just stood there still.
