(19) Goodbye

May 14th

The next morning, I was cuddling with Zack when Kayla called.

"What?" I ask.

"Mom wants to see you. She heard about the witch attack." She says before the line clicked.

"I have to go." I say getting out of bed and slipping on some clothes.

"What? No. Come back to bed." He pulls me back to his lips.

I miss him back before I let go. I look in his brown eyes and in one swift movement I freeze him. Now he couldn't move. I lay his head back down on the pillow and close his eyes.

Today was the 14th, which ment tommorow I was ment to give birth. So I was already planning on spending a few hours with my family before I left. I just didn't imagine that the time would be fighting.

I leave the house and do a spell on the doorknob so anyone who touched it would forget that they were ever here.

A little while later, I walk through the doors of my mom's bakery and Immiditly my mom throws her arms around me.

"Слава богу, ты в порядке." (Thank god, your okay.) "Я так торговалась когда услышала о напаленм ведьмы." (I was so worried when I heard about the witch attack) "Но, все в порядке?" (But, you're okay?)

"Я в порядке мама." I say back in russian. (I'm fine mom.) "Я ведьма." (I'm a witch.) "Я могу позаботится о себе." (I can take care of myself.)

"Я знаю что ты можешь." (I know you can.) "Я просто слишком сильно тебя люблю думать о чем-то плохом происсходит с вами." (I just love you too much to think of anything bad happening to you.)

"О мама." (Oh mom.) I say. She was making it harder for me to leave.

"Остановиться с счастьем." Kayla says in russian. (Stop with the sappiness.)

"Не горе." I say. (Not a word.)

"Без разницы." Kayla says as me and my mom in-hug. (Whatever.) "Давай выпьем торта." (Let's have cake.) Kayla holds up a 3 layer wedding cake and we sit down at the table to have it.

This was the perfect way to say goodbye.

A few hours later, I hooked the trailer onto the jeep Daniella had lent me. I open the trailer doors. "Alright boy, lets get you to your new home."

I load Grey in the trailer before I hop in the driver seat and start the long drive to Virginia with Kat right beside me.

"Lets go give birth to your baby." She says.

I ignore her and turn up the radio.

"Perfect song." She starts singing along to Ariana Grande hit song dangerous women and I found myself singing along to it to.

I was leaving today because I knew the birth would only be about 2 hours long and it took 7 hours to get to the castle. I knew I would start craving tommorow and then two hours later I would have a baby. So I had to leave the day before.

It was dark when I finally arrived at the gate. I put the password in and the gate open. I drive till I'm right outside the barn. I get Grey out and put him in his new stall. I talk to him for a little bit before I went to the castle.

I brought Grey with me because I will becoming back here and no one will know he's gone because when I burnt down the barn all the horses ran off and I'm not sure about the other ones but Grey has been roaming freely. So know one would know he's missing.
