"Lee y/n.". You stood up, smiling as you walked your way to the stage. Shaking hands with the principle and the mayor of your city, you kindly received your certificate of education. After twelve years of this shit, you were finally free from the torment of your teachers. Ben lent over towards your ear, having already received his award. "You know, I'm surprised half of the people here are actually graduating.". You shook your head smiling, "Everybody here has the right to after putting up with some of these teachers.".

"I'm so proud of my two babies." Your mother was crying, again. You pulled her into a hug, "Ma we know you're proud you've said it already." Ben was off talking to his girlfriend and her parents, trying to talk them into letting her stay at our house overnight. "You know something, Ben has always had a girlfriend through the years but you, you were never interested." Your mum was looking at you, as if she were trying to figure you out. "I don't know, even if I met my type I feel like something always pulled me away, like I'm meant to be waiting for someone else and some unearthly thing is telling me that." Your mother nodded, "I had that same feeling, that was until I met your dad, and that feeling changed. Suddenly I wanted to do everything I could to be with him, no matter the consequences." Your smile reached your eyes and both of you looked at Ben laughing with his girlfriend. "Sometimes he looks just like dad, but only for a split second before he returns to Benny." Your mother sighed, "I know, I guess you just start to see someone you've lost in people connected to them, you remind me of him when you talk sometimes." It had been five years since your father had passed away. Five years since your family got the news that he was murdered while trying to buy flowers to give to your mother. Flowers to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Your mother, shook out her body, loosening it of whatever tension was created, "I do believe its time to go home so we can have lunch". You nodded and made your way over to Ben. "Benny, ma wants to go, she's hungry." Ben nodded and gave his girlfriend a kiss, "I'll see you at the party cutie, I love you." You cringed at the aeygo he did in the last part of his sentence and pulled him towards the car.

A/N: Short but sweet with this one. Gotta piece this stuff together :)
