The Prologue

-Kanako POV-

"BEEP BEEP BEEP!" I roll around in my sheets before I get up and turn my alarm off. 6:05am I get out of bed and rub my eyes.

"Ugh"

 I am definitely not a morning person.  I go ahead and put my clothes on and do my hair.
 
I walk down my stairs and go into the kitchen to see a note on the island.

  Dear Kanato,
   I made you some breakfast its over there on the counter. I had to go into work early today, so I'll be home around 5:00 pm. I love you I hope you make new friends at your new school today. Good Luck with your first day of Sophmore year!

Right.. Me and my mom had moved from the United States To Japan. So that means I have to go to a new school. At least its an all animal school this time!
 
I hurry and eat my breakfast then go back up stairs to brush my teeth and polish my horns. You have no idea how dirty dragon horns can get.
  After that I grab my school bag and walk down stairs to get my lunch bag and my phone.

  Then at 6:45am I open the my front door and walk down my street to the bus stop.
 
I look the paper the school gave me to tell me my bus time and my class.

Atsuko, Kanako
            Bus Time- 6:55 am
            Classroom- 1-A

  I wait 10 minutes until my bus finally arrives. No one is really on yet only a couple people in the front and the middle. So I take a seat in the back of the bus. I take out my phone and see that I have a text from my friend that I meet at the park the other day.

"Mom I'm going for a walk!"

"Ok! Be safe!"I walk out of the house and start walking down the street.
  
"Hey!"

I turn around and see where the voice is coming from. I see this Wolf girl walking up to me with dark blue hair and white tips and she has this outgoing  personality.
 
"Hi!"
 
She catches up to me and soon enough we are walking side by side.
 
"Your the girl that moved in the house across from me right?"
 
"That would be me!"
 
"Great! I wanted to come and introduce myself! I'm Yukina Chizuru, You can just call me Yukina though."
 
"I'm Kanato Atsuko you can call me Kanato!
 
"So what school will you be attending?"
 
"I'm going to be going to Animal High School!" I replied
 
"Awesome that's the school I'm going to!"
 
"I'm also a grade 10." I said
 
"Really! That's even better were the same grade!"
 
"Great!" I said. We talked for hours getting to now each other and apparently she is going to try and get the spot as Student council President.
                                  *
  As I opened my eyes I could tell I had been texting Yukina all the way to school that I lost track of time on the bus.
 
As my bus arrived in the school parking lot I gathered my things and started to head to the front of the bus.
 
Once I got off the bus I stared blankly at the huge school and all the people outside socializing.
 
Then I heard someone calling my name.

  "Hey Kanako! Come here!"
I looked over and saw Yukina Calling my name. She is standing by this girl with horns and short white hair with a dark blue strip in her hair too. I walk over to where there sitting at these red tables.
 
"Hey Yukina! Who's this?" I asked
 
"The names Misaki Chiya. Just call me Misaki."
 
"Well its nice to meet you Misaki!" I get to talk with Yukina and Misaki for awhile before class. As from what I can tell Misaki is shy to outsiders but opens up a lot around people she now's.
