There is a light breeze in the air as the kids excitedly talk in the old orphanage, Halloween is approaching soon and the kids are making costumes of princesses and pirates. All but two kids that is, because they are never included in the things the others do. They can hear the adults talking about them from across the room, they always talk about them. The two know that they won't be in this place much longer, they were never really welcomed there.
During dinner the night before Halloween the two were called into the office of the head caretaker. "Tomorrow night the two of you will be moving to a new home, so make sure you have everything you need packed", it didn't come as a surprise, so while the other boys in their room made sure their costumes were done, they packed a single bad between the two of them. The other kids didn't question it, they never do. The following day while the kids ran around dressed up the boys sat in their room on their shared bed, no one said a thing about it. Later that night when the kids set out to get candy the boys climbed into a car heading the other way, no one blinked an eye at it. Truly no one cared about the two boys, until they reached the manor in the woods.
"Welcome boys, the others are in the living room watching movies", a kind older man greeted them, "Now can I know your names, the orphanage didn't supply them."
"That's because they didn't know them, I'm Xiao Jun, and this is Hendery",the pale one said, brushing the older man off,"Where are our room?" They prefer to be alone I mean no one else has cared for them.
"Well boys, it's upstairs, but I want you to meet your new family, they are excited to meet the two of you", this was a first, no one ever wanted to be with them, maybe things are starting to change for the better.
