Abnormal

The Gargoyle

         They were warned before leaving for their vacation that Abnormals weren't accepted where they were going, but they didn't listen. The first few days went fine, it was on the fourth day that things went downhill. The family was at the park, the young child in the sandbox while his parents watched. It was then that some other parents came by and started up a hostle conversation about how they shouldn't be aloud to be near their children. The verbal abuse slowly turned into physical abuse as men grabbed hold of the womans wings trying to set her husband off. When one man pulled out a knife, the man sent his wife to get their son and find help. She called the cops as she reached her son, they said help was on the way.

        However as she was about to hang up, a gunshot rang out through the playground. Warm red liquid splashed across the face of the child gargoyle as his father screamed in the distance, and his mother slumped over in front of him. Woman and children were screaming and running as another shot rang out. But the child went deaf to the noise as he watched his father fall to the ground. When the coops finally arrived the park was empty, with the exception of two bodies and a silently crying child who wouldn't talk when spoken to.

        The child remained silent for two days before finally answering a question, he spoke in only single word responses. On the third day a man arrived with another child around his age. They sat in silence for a few minutes before the man began to speak.

"Hello, I'm ************, and this is Taeyong. What is your name?"

"Jaehyun"

"Ok Jaehyun. How would you like to come home with us, to a safe place with tons of others who could be your brothers?"

        The young gargoyle sat in silence for a few moments before looking the man in the eyes, "Ok".
