My name is Jessica and I'm a daughter of Poseidon. My brother is Percy. We went on a quest to rescue the boy who is now my boyfriend and I had my first kiss at the end.
One month later(July 29th 2015)
Jake and I have been dating for 4 years and a month. He's the best boyfriend ever. Percy is still at Camp Half-Blood with Annabeth because he'll get "homesick." I think it's because he wants to protect me and make sure I don't get pregnant. I wake up and Percy is standing over me holding a note. He asks angrily "What's this?" I get up and read the note. I slowly begin to recognize who it's from. I say "It's just a note from Jake." Percy snaps back "ASKING YOU TO MEET HIM IN HIS CABIN FOR YOU KNOW WHAT!!" I yell "DON'T GO SNOOPING THROUGH MY STUFF!" Then Percy slaps me right across the face. I'm shocked. Then I grab my things and run out. Percy runs after me. I run through the woods and out of camp and I call a cab to take me to the airport. The cab arrives within seconds. I ask the cab driver to take me to the airport. When I'm at the airport I quickly book a flight to Las Vegas. I print my boarding pass and I head through security. Once I'm through I check what time my flight leaves. 7:08. I check the time. 7:05. I run to my gate and get on the plane at the last minute. I get a call from Percy. I decline. Then the plane leaves.
5 hours later
The plane arrives in Las Vegas. I get off and once I'm outside of the airport I get a cab. I say "Take me to the nearest casino." The cab driver drops me off at the Lotus Casino. I walk in and get a hotel room. Once I'm in my hotel room Percy calls me again. I don't pick up. Then I take my belongings with me head downstairs to the lobby. That's when I notice this huge area. There's amusement park rides, arcade games, a dance floor, and all the good stuff. I think to myself "I'll spend 5 hours here and Percy will never know I went here." I get offered a lotus flower. I take one. I eat it and it tastes really good. Then I get to the fun stuff. After a good three hours I get a third call from Percy. I pick up. I say "Hello brother who betrayed me." Percy says "Finally you pick up. Where are you? You've been gone for 5 days." I say "5 days? You must have lost your mind. I've been in Las Vegas for 3 hours. Percy yells "WHAT?!?" Then I hang up. I get offered another lotus flower. I decline as I slowly come to my senses. I'm in the lair of the lotus eaters. I run for the doors and try to exit. The doors are locked. Then I spot a car. I get in and I speed out of the casino. Then I speed to the airport. I get a flight back to New York.
