Once we get back to camp Chiron asks us how the quest was. I say "It was great!" Then I walk back to my cabin with Percy. Since I'm really tired I just go to sleep and I don't wake up until dinner. When I wake up from my nap I walk into the bathroom. My hair is a mess and I'm very sweaty so I change into sweats and I run to Piper's cabin. When I get to Piper's cabin I knock. One of the girls says "Enter." I Enter and I scan the room for Piper. Once I see her I go up to her saying "Piper. Fix me. My hair is a mess." Piper gets a lot of hair supplies. When she's finished all the other girls have an envious look on their faces. We all walk to the dining pavilion. When I'm at the dining pavilion everyone is staring at me as if they're in a trance. I hear someone say "I want Jessica to be my girlfriend." I walk to my table and sit down next to Percy. I ask him if I can go on a real quest and not just a rescue mission to Tartarus. Percy says "No. It's too dangerous. I can't risk anything happening to you. I say "Please." Percy says "We'll talk about this later. I say "Fine."
After dinner
Percy and I head back to our cabin. When we're inside our cabin I say "Percy. Please let me ask Chiron if I can go on a real quest." Percy says "It'll be too dangerous for you. You'd get killed. I can't risk that." I yell "I'M 14! I'M NOT JUST A DUMB LITTLE KID!" Percy yells back "YOU ARE NOT CAPABLE OF DOING DANGEROUS THINGS!" Then Percy storms out. I grab my things and I stuff them in my backpack. Then I climb out the window and I run through the woods and out of camp for good.
