The Loss of Both

Rogue's POV

As the fight between me and Ashura ignites Esdeath easily destroy her enemies outside the barrier

'Great Fire Style; Fireball Jutsu' I thought while weaving signs a ball of fire was charged against Ashura

As he weaves signs for water four pillars of water appeared beside him and also charged at my fire which causes steam afterward I activated my Sharingan again

I also saw Ashura activate his as I look beside him their leader was only visible my eyes widen as I realize that I've lost track of one of my enemy

I cursed myself mentally but smirked when I felt a presence behind me as I look back I saw the pink haired girl as she tries to shoot her beam at me

As I weave sign a direct hit of a lightning strike her but lucky for her she only took half of it because their leader used her mechanical right arm to attract half of the lightning (AN I don't really know what her arm is made of but...XD)

3rd POV

As Esdeath and Rouge fought most of the Nightraid the escape that was planned by the other group which consist of Bulat, Leone, and Chelsea to free their teammate Tatsumi was successful until the soldiers notice the changes

Wave's POV

Before the sun can show the General and Rogue-san seems to be in a hurry we didn't mind at all but we were left to guard the prisoner even though the interrogation team was assigned on him

As we do our morning chores a sudden knock startled all of us

As Seryu opened the door we were suddenly welcome with the sight of a bloodied soldier

"Jaeg..rs. we...need your....help" he said still catching his breath

We quickly stand up and stop the things that we're doing

"What happened?!" I asked quickly

"The Nightraid successfully freed our prisoner and now escaping" he replied

We took our teigu and quickly and run down to the underground prison

"We have to surround them" Run quickly took over the command

"Wave and I will pursue them from above Bols-san Kurome-san intercept them on the underground Seryu-san will be guarding the stairs"

We all nodded in response and got to our respective assignment

As we got up in the air I saw a small hole "Ran-san look" I pointed the hole

We quickly investigated it by going down

"There's some blood they have escaped already!" the blonde haired teacher exclaimed

"You track them I'll call the others to regroup"

I nodded and quickly followed the blood that was left by the Incursio user

As we got to an open field we readied ourselves for the worst possible outcome

As Me, Bols, and Kurome search for the trails of the Nightraid suddenly I sensed someone that is about to punch Kurome I equipped into my Grand Chariot and took the blow for her and suddenly fly to nowhere leaving me unconscious

3rd POV

As Bulat send Wave flying the face-off between the Jaegars and Nightraid begun. Leone and Bulat readied for battle and Bols, Kurome and Seryu did the same
