I Thought You Loved Me (Sequel to Lies)

Chapter 5

We walked to the new arcade that everyone was talking about. When we got there, I saw how cool it was. There were flashing lights and lots of games. We walked in and started looking around.

I got really excited and we played a few games. They were so fun. "Hey Phil, we should come here more often." "Yeah that would be cool!" Just as we were about to play this racing game... Luke showed up.

"Oh hi Phil! Dan." He said my name quieter. "Hi Luke!" Phil said cheerfully. I just stood there fidgeting and shuffling about. "I won this for you!" And he held out a toy lion. "Thanks so much Luke! Its so fluffy!" Phil said enthusiastically and took it. I wanted to rip the lions' head off. Luke was so annoying. He had to come at the worst possible moment, as I could spend some time with Phil. I wanted to go home now. "Come with me!" Luke beckoned and we followed, well I got dragged by Phil. "Its a new game called 'galactic space wars'. Its so fun!" His voice was starting to get annoying. I wanted to walk away and do my own things, but I knew Phil wanted me to stay. "Wow! Let me have a try." Phil slotted in some money and started to play. He got the highest record of today's plays and got a lot of tickets. "Now you can buy something at the till!" I could see that Luke was very happy with Phil, by his expressions, but I was not happy with him. Phil was mine but Luke was stealing him away from me.

Phil bought 3 lollipops and have one to me and one to Luke. We sucked them and talked about boring life stuff. I just zoned out for the whole convosation and thought about Phil as I always did.
