Chapter 6

"Dan?..... Dannnn??" I blinked my eyes and awoke from my daydream. "Uhh... Yeah." "Luke is leaving now." Yessss! Now I get Phil all to myself. I let out a little "yay!" Phil looked at me. "Sorry what did you say?" "Umm nothing." Luke was waving at us and Phil waved back like a windmill. "Byeeeeeeee!" I just nodded. Finally Luke was gone.

We walked back and it was quite late. My head turned to look at him but he looked dreamy and his eyes were glossed over. He didnt look back. I grabbed his hand but slowly, so I could give him a chance to wiggle it away, but he kept his hand in mine. I gripped it tightly, but he left his hand dangling, not gripping back. It was silent for the rest of the walk home. It made me uncomfortable. This wasn't the usual Phil.

When we got home he went straight to our bedroom. I wandered round for a bit, not going into the bedroom straight away, that would be awkward. I slowly walked up the stairs and heard Phil crying. I opened the door. He lyed sprawled out on the bed. "Phil?" He didnt answer. "PHIL?" "Go away."

I sat down on the bed and patted his back. "I said go!" "Phil, how can I go? This is my property as well. I can sit on my own bed right?" He just sighed and mumbled, "Dan, I dont mean that way. Look im sorry. Its hard for me. You dont understand me. Can we just make things normal?!" Sorry? What for? I didnt want this to end badly so I just agreed.

"Ok. Just dont cry. I hate it when you do. I love you more than anything, you know that dont you? You will stay my special little Phil. I havent had anyone like you and your just amazing. Please, we are dating. You can tell me anything thats wrong and I'll be here for you ok? We can stay normal. Its fine Phil. I love you." He smiled and hugged me. "Ok......" I knew there was still something wrong though. Why would he cry?
