As suspected, Joey passed her last medical checkup with flying colours and was eager to start exercising and driving again. But mostly, she was excited to have people stop looking at her as though she could break at any minute. Losing a baby was hard enough, but dealing with people's overprotectiveness during her recovery, was something else entirely.

It was hard not to let out a nervous giggle when her doctor informed her and Frank that she was free to have sexual intercourse again. He could tell by the guilty looks on their faces that they had already jumped the gun and impatiently restarted their sex lives. As funny as the situation was, Joey blushed like a teenager when he playfully called them out and muttered something about "young love" to himself as he finished Joey's paperwork.

"Do you wanna stop and get a coffee?" Frank asked from the driver's seat of his truck as he checked his watch.

"Sure, but let's get it to go. I wanna get back to the kids. I know my mom said that she wanted to show Amelia off to her bridge club, but I promised Mary that I'd help her work on her photography badge. I also need to wash Sam's uniform for his game tomorrow, and I have to come up with a snack for Mary's soccer team, too. So I wanna get all that done before ma comes back with baby."

"Okaaaay?" Frank sung out as he whistled to himself and promptly turned down the wrong street and refuse to change his route when Joey pointed out his mistake.

Joey had no idea what was going on. Sure Frank drove like an old man sometimes, but the way his truck was just barely crawling down the street was ridiculous. She was just waiting for a cop to pull them over and give them a ticket for impeding traffic. Sure, it was nice to hang out with her man outside of the house for a change, but she had a ton of stuff to get done. Juggling all of Mary and Sam's activities could be overwhelming at times, even before an adorable newborn started taking up all her time.

"I cannot wait to start driving again." Joey mumbled to herself as cars began to pass them.

Almost an hour and a half later, they were finally pulling up to the house and Joey's patience had officially run thin. Frank had dragged his feet at the coffee shop, sparked up a very uncharacteristically chipper conversation with a random man in the parking lot, and then, to add insult to injury, he took the scenic route home which added another 25 minutes on to their trip.

"Come 'er, grumpy." Frank smiled as he put his truck into park and smiled his gorgeous charming smile to try and win her over. Frank knew that she was pissed and he wanted to get her in a better mood before they went inside.

"Grumpy?" Joey scoffed as he wrapped his arm around her. "That's you, babe. I'm just along for the ride...a very long ride."

"You're healthy." Frank mused out loud as if he had just received the best gift ever; effectively changing both the subject and Joey's foul mood.
