A Friendly Face

dakotas pov
  i stared out the window as the light poured into the room. my body was engulfed in heavy but warm arms. ethan. i stared at his face, the way his lashes touched the tops of his cheeks, his mouth slightly ajar, slow breathing, and his messy hair. i couldn't believe he wanted to be with me last night. his t-shirt was bunched around his arms that clutched onto me as if at any moment i would slip away.
his eyes started to move back and forth behind the lids and i knew he would wake up soon. i snuggled deeper inside of him to cherish the last few minutes of the peace i felt.
he tensed and breathed in deeply waking up. i felt the stubble on his face upturn into a smile.
  "good morning dakota." he sleepily murmured. his voice was slightly raspy from sleep. it was the hottest sound in the world.
"good morning ethan." i said from in his chest. i didn't want to move.
"i think we should stay here all day and forget school." he said as he snuggled his face into my hair. i nodded in agreement making him chuckle. he pulled my face out of his chest and looked into my eyes. he was so beautiful.
after what felt like an eternity he leaned in and kissed me. it started off slowly and became more brazen. we made out and he pulled me on top of him.
i began to kiss down his neck to his chest making his eyes widen. i was never as innocent as people thought, i was just quite. i definitely knew what i was doing. as i began to lower myself we heard foot steps.
  my alarm had been going off earlier and my mom probably thought i was still sleeping. i stopped what i was doing and got off ethan. he knew exactly what needed to happen and opened to window.
"i'll see you tonight kota," he kissed me one last time and jumped out of the window.
i threw myself under the covers and pretended to sleep. oh i was definitely going to see him later.  he had no idea what he was in for.
the door opened.
"dakota, you're late. get out of bed." my mom shook me awake. i rubbed my eyes and nodded making her walk out of the room.
"have a good day, love you." i said as she left.
  "love you more." she said and shut the door.
