my day went by surprisingly fast, seeing as i had nothing to do. i normally don't pay attention, which probably isn't good.. but why would i waste my time if im not going to use it in my future anyway? (cough cough MATH cough cough) and not to flex or anything but im pretty smart already.. anyways the first half of the day zipped by pretty fast and before i knew it, it was lunch time.
i grabbed my backpack and waterbottle from my locker per-usual, and made my way to the courtyard. i waved hellos to my fellow classmates and friends, but i kept my eye on someone particullar.. that brandon kid. i dont know why but that dream i had last night freaked me the fuck out. "hey..uh.. brandon right?" i approached him casually. "yeah.." i sat down in the seat across from him "you'll never belive this- but i had a dream about that drawing you showed me yesterday.. haha" i chuckled. "oh, really?" he replied. i nodded, "w-what happened?" he asked me

"w-what happened?" i asked her. she thought it was a dream.. i didnt think she would be so... stupid? well, i guess that sort of thing can be hard to belive. but i gave her that brac-"i dont know.. it actually kind of looked like you, but y'know with the mask on....freaky right?" she laughed. i looked down, maybe i can 'tell' her a different way without... going to her house. she'd have to like me back right? i mean, she did sit down to talk to me two days in a row. or maybe its just out of pity. "hellooo?? brandon?? do you read me?" she waved her hand infront of my face. "oh- sorry i must've zoned out" i replied, my heart pounding. "ooookaaayyy haha.." she trailed off. "anyway it scared the hell out of me. it was super real too.. and he-you- whatever, had red glowing eyes! sick huh?" she made gestures with her hands, which made me smile. "i dont know, i thought you'd get a kick out of it." y/n shrugged, "w-what else happened..?" did she see the bracelet? i mean i gave it to her.. we were almost holding hands.. "oh yeah that reminds me, you gave me a bracelet too!"
"did you like it?" i asked feeling myself becoming more eager to her reaction. "oh- well i didnt really get a good look at it." i shrinked into my seat. "i think i dropped it to be honest, then i guess i went back to bed." i felt dissapointed, she must not have seen it. i know we had a special connection yesterday. i can feel it.

"i think i dropped it to be honest, then i guess i went back to bed." i admitted. i looked to brandon, he was... glaring at me? i felt shivers up my back. what is his problem?"umm well... ill see you later, okay?" i quickly collected my things and walked to a different table. this is messing with my head.
"hey y/n!" i turn my head to see my friends, amari and b waving at me. i smiled and approached them, "hey yall~" i spoke in a fake country accent. "where have you been missy?" B asked, mirroring the voice, and taking a bite into her sandwhich. "being cooler than you" i shot back jokingly and slinging my backpack to the ground. amari rolled her eyes with a smile, "yeah okay.. why were you talking to that kid?" she asked. "oh, i sat with him yesterday and i had a dream about a drawing he made, so i told him" i said honestly. "ooo creepy! did he invade your dreams with his goofy-ness?" B replied, making weird gestures with her hands. i laughed, "goofy-ness? is that even a word??"
"it is now." she declared, as amari countinued. "seriously, that kid is weird as hell, he draws dark cryptic shit about killing people y/n." she pushed her red braids out of her face. i rolled my eyes, "okay and? hes a weirdo that so happened to be in my dream so what?" i replied. "you're weird too amari!" she smiled and shook her head, B hummed in agreement. "look, all im saying is be careful. i read this story the other day where-" i zoned out as she went on about some girl that got murdered. the kid is... strange but he might not have a lot of friends. my gaze fell back into his direction, to see him looking right at me.
OKAY maybe he is weird as hell, holy shit. i swiftly rotate my head around and look at the table. has he been looking at me this whole time? i turn my attention to B and amari to try and take my mind off of it, and finish my lunch.
