"bye b! bye amari!!" i waved to my friends. "byeee" amari exclaimed as b waved from inside the bus. i smiled at them before pushing my headphones on my head and turning on some music. i decided on something cheer-y. is that a word? it is now, and began to walk home per-usual: feeling gratified. today was such a good day! i should reward myself with a (f/d). i stopped to check my pockets to see if i had any money. "hmmph.." i groaned pausing my music. i then checked my backpack pockets. 

"damnit. ughh" i growled to myself. i was just about to give up hope before i saw a 5 dollar bill infront of me. when did that get there? i bended over to pick it up, examining it. didnt look fake or anything.. i then peered over my shoulder to see if anybody had dropped it. nope. i shrugged, stuffed it into my pocket, and trotted along to my nearest convenient store. i've been going here by myself sence i was a kid, so the owner knows me quite well. his name is kyle, and hes taking over for his father while he attends college.

"hey kid." he greeted, adjusting his weed hat."hiya kyle!" i beamed, walking over to where my favorite drink is. i had a few extra bucks left, so i bought me some (f/c) too. i slid it over the counter. "of course, (f/d).." he commented, scanning my items. "yeah, hey you'll never guess but i found this 5 dollar bill on the ground just outside!" i slid the bill across the counter as he bagged my items. "i wish i had your luck.." he smirked. "maybe one day.. bye see you later!" i waved playfully as he nodded. i heard the bell chime as i pushed the door open and popped the top off of my (drink/soda). i stopped to take a swig. perfect end to a perfect day. "mmm, mmm, MMM!" i hummed to myself as i walked the few blocks to my house. i peeked around the corner to see if i could spot my moms car. yes!! shes home~ finally.

the night went on normally. i had just finished my bowl of ramen before i realised that i had to take a shower. "i gotta take a shower, be right back." i mentioned to my mom, jumping off the couch. she waved me off as i galloped up the stairs and to my room. taking my clothes off, brushing my hair (if you have any) and hopping in the shower. i felt the water roll down my back as i relaxed in the water. i did my normal shower routine, washed my face, hair(again if you have any), and body. i stepped out of the shower and wrang (? is that a verb?) my hair out over the tub. wrapping the towl around my body, i heard a buzz come from my phone. 

unknown number: hey its theo

unknown number: sorry i didnt txt you earlier i was doing homework all night lol

my heart skipped a beat. i changed his contact name, but i decided to change before i replied to him. i slipped on a simple t-shirt with some shorts and rolled onto my bed, phone in hand. 

me: same lmao 🤡

me: wyd?

theo: playing minecraft

theo: wanna join? 

me:  yessss ofc 

i jumped off my bed to unplug my laptop. but when i opened the screen, it wouldn't turn on. what the hell? "ughhh seriouslyyyy" i groaned to myself, pushing the power button. then, my lights went out. i let out a sigh of frustration. not now!!

me: nvm lol my computer wont turn on and my power just went out 😐

theo: oh shit 

theo: mine did too haha

me: yeah fr

i opened by flashlight app and quickly turned it on. the dark actually kinda scares me. your mind starts to play tricks on you, y'know? and i am not looking forward to seeing slenderman or something.

me: got a flashlight

theo: fuck i cant find one bro

me: lmao

theo: let me borrow urs 😇

me: no lolol get gud

theo: very rude y/n!! 

theo: now im going to die

me: laughing so hard rn 😐

me: just use ur phone lol

theo: oh ur right

i exited by room, phone in hand, trying to carefully make my way down the steps.

me: walking down the stairs has never been harder oml

theo: just dont fall ez

me: ez my ass

theo: too bad, my wifi is out too

theo: i wanted 2 play minecraft 2gether 😭

i grinned, biting my lip. i called out for my mom.. "mooooom!?!" i yelled. nothing. "mommaaa!!! mother!!!!" i hope she didnt fall or anything... no i would've heard it.

me: same!! 

me: now i cant show off my sick skills smh..

theo: yeah right 1v1 id win for sure

me: bull

i clumsily walked around my house, only to find my mother in the backyard. "hey! where have you been ive been yelling at you for no reason!" i scolded. the was putting her phone up to the sky. "im trying to see if i can get any reception to see whats going on." she replied. i shivered, feeling the cold air on my body. i turned my attention back to my phone

me: back

me: anything interesting happen?

theo: nah

theo: noises outside but other than that its just quiet

me: better make sure its not a big man in the woods ;)
