"Bats did you figure anything out?" Robin asked as he heard the news of the two people in the mountain who were dying as well. Batman stood outside the room Lotor and Leo stayed in as there was a one way mirror as it was a window to the outside.

Lotor was getting some real food in the kitchen with Allura and the side kicks as well as some of the others. But Leo and Akira stayed in the hospital bed, Leo was sleeping with both arms wrapped around Akira as the other teen was awake reading a book, but enjoyed being with his boyfriend again. Bruce knew they were murderers, but they were also children, confused children that just wanted an out from the hell they were forced in.

"I sent their dna to Alfred," Bruce told his son with his hands at his side.

"And the organization?" Dick took off his mask looking up at his mentor sternly.

"What about it?" Bruce turned to him.

"They're obviously dangerous, we gotta do something about it, put a stop to them," dick scoffed crossing his arms.

"Dick we don't even know what they are, where, or who, that could take years," Bruce hissed softly as dick glared.

"That could've been any of the others, any of us with powers, Wally, Kaldur, even zatanna," dick stepped forward trying to convince his mentor.

"And now they are literally dying! If you won't do anything I will, and I know I'll have people on my side, including the ones that came from there," dick put his mask back over his eyes and stormed off.

"Dick wait," Bruce grabbed his shoulder. "I will talk to the other members,"

"If any of those kids die now, it's on all of your hands if you don't do anything," robin pushed him off and kept walking.

Bruce sighed pinching the bridge of his nose but heard a shuffle from the side as he saw Akira standing there with his arms crossed.

"Your not going to anything but talk?" Akira asked in a low growl.

"We don't even know what's killing them, what was even injected," batman explained in a low tone.

"I know who you are Bruce Wayne, and I know you have the money, the brains to figure it out, your little league promised us a new start, don't tell me youd break promises as well as lie?" Akira quirked a brow as Batman glared.

"I'm aware of the deal red arrow and the team made, and if Leandro survives, we will grant it to you both," Batman told him calmly.

"If?" Akira scoffed.

"There's no guarantee," Batman turned away as he left the hall leaving Akira behind. Akira felt his hands heat up in rage, he growled throwing his fist into the wall leaving a hole in the stone wall as his hands steamed.

"Akira," he heard behind him and saw Leo standing in the door calmly. "It's okay,"

"No it's not okay," Akira glared as his eyes flared up for a moment but realized his boyfriend was out of bed.

"Leo you shouldn't be even standing," Akira walked to him wide eyes as he took leos hands gently. He was shaking a little but he was able to hold his own.

"I couldn't sleep," Leo smiled softly.

"Did you hear?" Akira whispered gently.

"Yea," Leo looked away.

"But he's not wrong Kira, it's an if, and we don't know anything about the poison they put in us," he sighed leaning against the wall.

"Don't talk like that," Akira warned.

"I'm just being realistic," Leo frowned.

"I'm not loosing anyone else I love!" Akira snapped.

"Kira..." "No! I'm not loosing you too, I can-can't," Akira covering his eyes but felt Leo pull him close.

"I'm so sorry you have to go through this," Leo gulped, Akira didn't cry, his jaw clenched so hard it began to ache as he didn't want to be anywhere but with Leo, in his arms. He didn't know if it'd be the last. He didn't want to take any moment for granted.

"Just do what they say, any medication they think will help, anything that means it's a chance to find out how to save you," Akira looked up at him as he held Leo's face gently in his pale hands.

"What if they find me?" Leo whispered worried.

"They won't," Akira smiled. "But for you, you need rest Leo, it's all we can do for now,"

They went back to the bed as Leo grunted sitting down in the bed as he leaned back.

"Do you remember that promise I made you?" Leo asked softly as he laid on the bed with Akira at his side.

"You pinky promise a lot of things Leo," Akira scoffed crossing his arms. Leo brushed his hair behind Akiras ear as he stared at his boyfriend like he'd never see him again with the softest gaze.

"That one day, when we're free, out of this hell, that I'll marry you," Leo whispered and Akira closed his eyes nodding.

"I'm keeping that promise, in a few years when you forget about it again, I'm going to propose to you," he smiled as Akira didn't look at him.

"You don't know that Leo," Akira rasped keeping his gaze low.

"Yea, I know, but it's my hope right now, to have a future with you still, safe," he chuckled and Akira felt a tear run down his face but Leo wiped it away.

"You need to go to bed, if you want that promise to be fulfilled still," Akira got up but Leo grabbed his hand.

"Hey," Leo looked at him seriously as Akiras eyes were starting to turn red from holding back everything.

"I love you," he whispered kissing his knuckles.

Akira leaned down kissing him softly but it turned deeper with passion, kissing his boyfriend with all the love he had. His hand caressing Leo's cheek as his thumb brushed over a scar but light enough to not hurt his bruises.

"I love you too," Akira whispered against his lips.

"Don't give up on it yet, it's taken Lotor three months, I'm not dying before him," Leo smirked up at him as Akira giggled when he kissed his neck and rubbed his nose against his skin to tickle him.

"I'm going to get some food, you want anything?" Akira asked holding his hand tightly.

"See if they got bbq chips!" Leo gasped excitedly.
