"Gah!" Leo fell to the ground as blood dropped down his nose and onto the cold tile ground as he spat blood on the ground. He cussed in his native tongue and looked back at the opponent of a fellow soldier.

"Your the great blue that they let free? Holy shit your worthless now," a girl with bright green eyes and black hair as she smirked down at Leo.

"Been kind of out of it," Leo looked under his shirt seeing his stitches slowly coming undone.

"Yea, well boo hoo" she snarled about to kick him but Leo was faster but her leg became intangible and she was free with a smirk.

"I'm not loosing this trial," the girl panted.

"Yea, well boo hoo neither am I," Leo sped at her and slammed his elbow into her side and flipped her over him as she went flying with a cry.

The girl snarled with her eyes glowing brighter as she tackled Leo to the ground, he grabbed her hands fighting her back but gasped when she punched him in his wound as it started to bleed more. Leo grunted trying to figure out how to get out with both of them alive but this meta human wasn't even close to that thought. She was determined.

Leo gasped when she slipped her hands out of his and immediately went for his throat as she gripped her smaller hands around his neck and panted as she squeezed. Leo inhaled deeply as he vibrated his molecules to get out of her grip.

The girl looked shocked seeing he was gone but without a scream her neck was snapped and she fell to the ground with Leo behind her.

Leo panted kneeling to the ground holding his torso where blood leaked on his shirt and he could feel slight bruises forming on his neck. Guess he'd have to convince Akira they weren't hickeys now.

He didn't even look at the girl, he was use to killing, it was easy at this point, but being back in this place made that feeling return, a dark feeling of every kill he was forced to make. Out in the world at least people were fighting for something different. In here everyone was fighting for the same thing. Their life as long as these monsters allow them to at least.

He felt men grab him and he didn't even fight back as the speedster was exhausted being dragged away. Staring at the ground blankly already knowing where he was going.

Instead he was strapped to a wheel chair and Leo blinked confused when they strapped all his limbs down and felt a familiar metal cuff around his ankle making his stomach drop.

"Heh, guess you have unlimited supply of those things, do you know how hard they are to get off?" Leo smiled forcefully to hide his concern for where they now were taking him.

"Okay now where am I going? I like the table you know? It was rolly but my back does start to hurt sometimes, how about with all this money you make torture tables a little more comfortable at least?" Leo babbled as he watched where he was being taken too.

"Lance no need to be afraid, you are a very important piece of our experiments, more than your sister more the lease," a woman walked next to him and Leo felt shivers run up his spine at the way she said his real name.

"What did you do to Rachel?" Leo growled.

"You already know," the woman said calmly.

"Like you know what's happened to my son," she sighed and Leo looked up at the woman, she was tall with long grey hair and bright gold eyes.

"L-Lotor? Your lotors mother?" Leo breathed wide eyes.

"I am, please call me honerva, after the death of my husband it was time we do things my way, to progress the organization rather than stand still, that's when we started the hunt on your team," she told him and Leo was to in shock of what she was telling him.

"Y-Your killing your own son!? What kind of monster-" "I am saving him, taking that retched power he calls a gift and turning him back into my son than a beast," honerva stopped the wheel chair with her foot catching the man pushing Leo by surprise.

"And I plan on doing that with those who aren't worthy of a soldier to do good, we are not evil lance," honerva knelt in front of lance with her eyes trying to be kind, like a mother.

"We are superior,"

Leo sat there still with a blank look on his face full of dread of this hell hes spent most of his life in, he's no longer had two options, to fight and kill or to die, it's expanded.

Die.

Fight and become a soldier for these bastards.

Fight and keep fighting.

Escape.

Wait for help.

Loose your powers.

And he didn't know which option he was able to succeed in, which was the right one.

"So what are you doing to me then? Taking my powers too?" Leo rasped as his chest tightened so much it hurt.

"If that's what it comes too yes, but for now, you are of value," honerva touched the side of his face gently but Leo snapped his jaw at her.

"Don't touch me," he spat.

"Behave, you are only valuable due to your powers, there is nothing else to you, you are nothing without them, and once your nothing to me, well what's stopping me from taking what makes you worth while?" Honerva patted his cheek smirking and Leo glared at her.

"I loved this chat, lance," she hummed parting ways as Leo was wheeled into another room glaring darkly at her until the door shut.
