Chapter 6

Kellin's POV

I wake up the next morning to someone pounding on the door. This fucker is dead for waking me up this early on a weekend.

"Just a minute!" I yell from the kitchen, frantically pulling on a shirt. I hope autumn doesn't wake up from this. She cried herself to sleep for hours last night.

After opening to door to see Andy I immediately try to slam it in his face. How dare he come here after standing her up!

"What do you want?" I say in a rude tone, giving him a glare. He steps inside, unwelcome, and closes the door.

"Listen uh I have a lot of explaining to do..." he trails off.

"No shit", I retort smartly.

"Just hear me out, okay?" he begins and I nod. "Okay so it all started when I was leaving to get Autumn for our date."

Autumn's POV

I wake up around 10am and head to the bathroom. Washing my face of the tear stains from last night, I look at my arms and remember the destruction I inflicted upon my own skin.

Before the negative thoughts cause my body more damage I shake my head and get dressed in black ripped skinny jeans, and spaghetti strapped tank top, and a black sweatshirt over it.

I put on my usual dark makeup and straighten my hair. Then I put on black converse and head downstairs, ready to start my day.

Half way down I hear Kellin talking to an all too familiar voice. Shit, I can't see him right now. I'm just not prepared for that.

Fuck this I'll just sneak out. I go back up the stairs before I can get noticed and lock my door. Then I take my phone and some money and open the window.

I climb out onto the roof and then make a rather heroic jump-if I do says so myself- off the roof and onto the grass.

Then walk quickly around the corner before I could possibly get noticed and begin my way to the mall.

Kellins POV

"Shit man, that sucks. Now I feel bad for being pissy at you. But we gotta fix this."

"I know. No offense but I always hated Jesse from the moment we met", Andy says.

"None taken", I slightly laugh, "he's an asshole. If I ever see him again I swear to god he will not live to see another day", I say. "How about you go see if Autumn is awake and I'll help you explain yourself." He nods and heads up the stairs.

"Hey Kel, um her door is locked", he calls out a minute later. I go up there and knock.

"Hey Autumn wake up", I call through the door. There's no answer even after a minute of knocking. What the hell? I'm getting worried now. What if she did it again?! Oh god, oh god, oh god.

"Hey man are you okay?" Andy asks from next to me.

"What? oh yeah I'm fine um lets just find something to pick the lock", I stutter nervously.

After entering her room I realize that she's not even in here, but the window is open. Dammit! She hasn't snuck out in forever. I thought she got over that.

Andy's POV

Kellin immediately pulls out his phone and calls Autumn. Why would she have to sneak out for?

"Hello?" her beautiful voice chimes through the speakers on his phone.

"Don't be all innocent with me; where the hell are you?" Kellin raises his voice slightly.

"I'm out, that's where I am. If you're gonna be an ass then I won't even come home", she retorts.

"Whatever just please come back", he says an little calmer. "Fine." And with that she hangs up.

About half an our later the sound of keys is heard jingling the front door open. "Kel I'm home", Autumn's voice calls out through the house.

She then enters the living room where Kellin and I are seated to wait for her. "What is he still doing here", she glares at Kellin while pointing at me.

"He came to explain what went down last night", Kellin says standing up.

"Well I don't wanna hear it. Get rid of him!"

"Just let him talk. This could've happened earlier but you decided to sneak out."

"Yeah I know. That's kinda why I left in the first place. I'm going upstairs and he better be gone when I come back down!" she yells and then runs up the stairs with tears in her eyes.
