HARRY:
"I, I'm gay." he breathed out, barely above a whisper. The world seemed to stand still for a moment and my blood ran cold. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I mean, I didn't mind, and for months now I knew that Louis was hiding something and now I knew what it was.
"Oh." was all I could think to say.
"I knew it. I shouldn't have said anything. You hate me." he cried, burying his face in his hands.
"No, no. That's not what I meant Lou." I said. "I was just surprised. I don't hate you. I could never hate you."
"You will." he whispered.
"What?" I asked. "That's impossible." I said firmly. He looked up at me through the spaces between his fingers and I stared into his ocean blue eyes, looking for something, anything in them that could tell me what was going on in his head.
"I..." he trailed off.
"What?" I asked. He shook his head.
"I can't. It'll ruin this. Us."
"No, it won't I promise." I begged. "Please Lou, I can't help you if you don't tell m-." I pleaded.
"I'm in love with you!" he shouted and cut me off. I felt the blood drain to my feet and my face flushed.
"I, I..." I didn't know what to say. I wasn't gay. But he was my best friend and I felt sick to my stomach at the thought of not being able to give him the love he wanted from me.
"I knew it!" he sobbed. "You hate me!" he screamed and pealed his hands from his face. I could see tears rolling down his cheeks and did the only thing I could think of. I leaned forward and tried to embrace him in a hug, but he simply pushed me away and stood from the couch, running to the door.
"Lou, please, we can talk about this!" I screamed after him, but he was already outside and running down the dark street.
