It was a quiet Sunday morning. Sunday is the town's resting day. Weekdays and Saturdays are always so busy.

I wake up to the sound of nothing. No children yelling. No dogs barking. No cars or bicycles passing by. Just the sound of the leaves rustling from the wind. How I wish every morning would sound like this.

But then the doorbell rang.

Fuck.

I ran to the door and opened it. My head peaked out so that the person wouldn't see how bad i looked. "Hello?" I said in my morning voice. I squinted my eyes and saw the figure of the one and only. "Jimin?"

"Hey, Jieun! Sorry for dropping by all of a sudden—early in the morning, too." Jimin played with his hair.

"Uh, yeah. No biggy." I continued to peak my head out of the door. "What's up?"

"I was just wondering. Has there been any incidents in this town? I don't care if it's recent or not." He asked.

"Well, not that I've heard of. This is just a small, friendly little town. Nothing bad really happens here." I replied, confused.

"Oh." Jimin seemed disappointed. "Thanks anyway. Have a nice day! Sorry again for any disruption." Jimin waved goodbye.

I watched him walk out of my property. He started to walk to the house next door. Jimin knocked on their door and started talking.

Was he asking the same thing to everyone in the neighborhood? I wonder why?

The neighbor shook her head to Jimin. He once again looked disappointed. I guess no one is answering his question the way he wanted them to.

I shut my door and walked to the bathroom.

It's nothing to worry about,

right?
