Y/n was now doing a light workout outside in the backyard. After what happen between him and Sam. He didn't want to lose his shape so doing a bit of a light exercise was good for him to not get lazy. As for Sam she went of to get some groceries form the local supermarket. He insisted to go with her.

Sadly she refused and told him to stay put and maybe next time he can. Right now to focus on recovering from his wound. Y/n nodded as she left after giving him a goodbye kiss.

As Y/n finish his last rep. He got up and could feel the sweat though not as much as he did before but hey it's better than sitting on his ass all day. He heard barking as Cloud was going towards him with his favorite toy, a tennis ball.

Y/n look at Cloud as he dropped the ball in front of him and wagged his tail. Y/n chuckle a bit and picked up the ball and tossed it up and caught it as he asked Cloud.

Y/n: You ready boy?

Cloud barked in excitement as Y/n got ready to throw the ball. Then he threw it as Cloud went to go after it. As Cloud ran after it, Y/n soon had on his face a warm smile on his face. As how he felt blessed to be here to forge a new future for himself along with a beautiful woman by his side along with her dog.

Meanwhile with Sam at the supermarket

Sam was picking over the tomatoes checking to see if they are fresh or not. Next to her was a cart filled with a few things, like vegetables,fruits,meats, and a few sweet things etc. As well wonder what today's meal could be.

Sam: Well,maybe today we can try and do lasagna along with a salad. Hmm. That could work.

When she was thinking over it. A person who she was familiar with was behind her and said.

Valkarie: Damn girl. I never took you for a cook.

Sam's eyes widen as she turned around and saw her blond friend smile a bit.

Sam: Oh my god,Meghan. It's so good to see you here.

The two women hugged each other as Valkarie just laugh and replied.

Valkarie:Likewise Sam. Though to be truthful I was just doing a bit on shopping. Since I took out all the rotten things of my fridge. So better stick up,right.

Sam:Thats true. Especially if you have one no two certain people who can clean it out when you don't expect it.

Valkarie: Huh, I know cloud would eat all the meat there but who....

Then her mind went back to Y/n she meet at Sam's bar.

Valkarie: Wait a minute. Do those two really do that?

Sam:*chuckles* Yeah they kinda do. I swear,those two knuckleheads are like father and son. But I still love them.

Valkyrie noticed it and then went to ask Sam.

Valkyrie: Whoa. Wait a minute. Are you saying, that you and Y/n are together.

Sam:W-Why do you ask that. It could simply be that I....

Valkyrie gave her the look that Sam knew all to well. Since she is one of her closest friends ever since she served with one another. Meghan can see through Sam. She sigh slowly and soon answered her friend.

Sam: Y-Yes. Me and Y/n have become an item.

Valkyrie: For how long?

Sam: *blushing*For a while now.

Valkyrie was a shock to hear about it. Sam for most of their time together was a tough woman. She didn't fall for any guy with good looks. Unlike others she only looks in who they truly are in the inside. Since that is what matters most.

Sure Y/n was a hunk she admits, though his scars might detract a few posts from others. Though to her it showed that he has seen hell and back. As well in his eyes Valkyrie saw a soldiers there who would risk his own life for others of given the chance. Even further proved when Sam told them his "story".

Valkyrie was a bit conflicted though. Sure she was happy for her friend to have found someone who cared about her.Though, Valkyrie did wanted to know Y/n better and even see how it goes from there. She didn't want to ruin her friendship with Sam and so decided to keep it hidden until she can get her head straight.

Valkyrie: I'm happy for you Sam.

Sam: Thank you Meghan. I know it's hard to see me like this all in love.

Valkyrie: No it's fine. Though I don't think Craig might not be all for it.

Sam: I know. I swear once he finds out he will try and talk to Y/n.

Valkyrie did chuckle a bit. Since Blackbeard considers Sam as a little sister. He is a bit protective. Once when a Navy Seal soldier tried to ask Sam out. Craig scared the poor guy away.

Sam: True. Hope it doesn't go south.

Valkyrie: Indeed. Anyway did you hear in the news that they found a few dead North Koreans.

Sam: What?

Valkyrie: Yeah like these aren't any normal guys. They are a few of their special forces that take and kidnap people.

Sam:W-Who they tried to take?

Valkyrie:No one, from what it appeared like the person whoever it is, they tried to take, wipe the floor with them.

Sam: Still how did they got here without being caught?

Valkyrie: That is the million dollar question a lot of people are asking. Coming from the sea is reasonable but crazy. From an airline is alone a possibility. Anyway now they are going to improve the systems and make sure that no more secret agents are set here.

Sam gave a sigh of relief. Since it would mean the least likely that Y/n would be trap again by the crazies. Unfortunately for her, Valkyrie wanted to use this chance to clear up a few things with her.

Valkyrie: Also there is also one more thing that might be connected to this.

Sam: What do you mean?

Valkyrie: For me I consider, that they might be after the Helljumper. Since his gear is not familiar with any nation. Though it seems he ain't alone.

Sam tried to stay calm but,kinda knew it would if happen sooner or late.

Sam: What makes you say that.

Valkyrie: Because one night. When he was intercepted by a few R6 agents. He seem to have sniper cover by a very skilled person. Who manage to hit Frost's weapon.

Sam began to sweat a little as her friend then continued on.

Valkyrie: Well aside that. There is only one person I can think of who she the skills to pull off a feat. Sam as your friend I need to know. Why are you with the Helljumper?
