True feeling

It was in the afternoon as Sam began to wake up first from a long sleep. When she opens her eyes she saw that her arms were still wrapped around Y/n. As she was still laying her head on his chest hearing his heartbeat.She felt her heart began to beat a little faster as she look up to see his sleeping face. As his face was at peace and seems he didn't have a nightmare which made her happy. But what was her main focus was her eyes landed directly on his lips. She bit her lip as she try to resist the urge to kiss him.

Sam*whisper* I know I shouldn't be doing this. But maybe he won't notice if I do a quick peck. Yes that should do it.

As she was silently getting closer to his face. She notice a familiar sound as she turn to see cloud looking at her. Like he sees what Sam was about to do.

Sam: Cloud don't you dare wake him up. Go to the kitchen I'll get your breakfast ready. Okay boy.

Hearing about food made cloud jump out of bed and head there. While it made Y/n move a bit he didn't wake up as Sam let out a sigh of relief. It was not easy for Sam to contain what she felt for Y/n. At first it was a simple crush on the guy. But as she got to know who he is and what he has been through. Has reinforce those emotions as she began to help him. As well Y/n respected her and didn't try to go to her for her looks like some other men do. He just sees who she really is,Sam a woman who can hold her own and that her bite is worse than her bark.

Then at ome point she finally realise after all the time they have spent together and what she has been feeling was no simple crush. But she was in love with a man who fought on through what she could say we're impossible odds and still lived through so much pain and loss. Get never lost hope and willing to sacrifice everything to win the war. As she began to close the distance between his and her lips. As they were a mere centimeters away she stop.

Sam:*though* Sam come on girl you are already come this far. See this through.

After she told herself that and regain her confidence. She close the distance as her lips touched his as she continue to kiss him. Sam tried to stop, but couldn't as she wants to taste his lips more. Well like expected that woke up Y/n as his sleepy eyes turn wide open in a second as he is seeing Sam kissing him. Sam open hers as her eyes open wide as well as she back off as Y/n is getting his bearings from what has happened.

Sam: Y/n..... I'm sorry I..... I'll go.

Before she can leave the bed Y/n grabbed on her arm as they are now looking at each other.

Y/n: Sam do you have something to say to me.

Sam: W-Why do you say that?

Y/n: Because someone wouldn't kiss someone unless it's something deeper.

Sam knew she was caught and soon sigh and knew it was now or better.

Sam: Yes I do have something to tell you Y/n. Ever since I meet you and during the time we have been together has made me see you more than a friend. What am saying is. Y/n I LOVE YOU!!!

As she said those words. It has widen his eyes more than before as she continue saying.

Y/n: Sam.

Sam: Y/n if you don't feel the same. I can under........

She was cut off as Y/n pulled her towards him as he lock his lips with hers. Sam was caught off guard but soon melted into it as she wrapped her arms around Y/n's neck. As Y/n wrap his arms around her waist. It was around they minutes they were kissing each other as they broke off to get some air. Y/n panting a bit told her as he look at her hazelnut eyes with his e/c eyes.

Y/n: Does that answer your question.

Sam: It does. Still I was, afraid of you not accepting my feelings after you know.

Y/n: I understand but, I made my peace with it Sam. Like you said they will always remain in my heart as long I never forget the good memories. Besides I was also afraid of you not accepting my feelings as well.

Sam: Why?

Y/n: Not a lot of people would go after someone like me who seen and been through a war they never imagine could happen. A broken man who is trying to find his place in this world.

As Y/n finish saying that. Sam began to hold his hand on hers.

Sam: Y/n,you are not broken. You are still a good man and nothing will never change how I feel for you. Remember Y/n you are not alone I'm here for you.

Y/n smile and he pecked her lips once more before hearing barking, as the new couple look up seeing Cloud as he was holding up his bowl. As if Cloud was saying he is hungry and so are both of them as their stomachs gurgle at the same time. They laugh as they began to get out of bed.

Sam: Alright cloud we'll be there shortly.

Cloud went back to the kitchen with his bowl as Y/n and Sam went the same place. Fixing up some Breakfast as Y/n was cooking their meal as Sam was pouring some dog food and water in Cloud's bowls.  After eating their meal and a fresh change of clothes they went out for a walk unknown to them as they came out there were two people.

??: Six we found them. What are our orders.

Six: Ela,your objective is to follow them. Confirm that he is our Helljumper. If he is then the objective is to capture him and his ally.

Ela: Understood Six. Over and out

As the radio was silent they saw their two targets heading off.

Ela: Let's go Vigil.

Vigil: Right behind you.
