chapter fourty-nine

Authors pov:
Maria was sent to the hospital right away and Donivan was by her side every second
"Ma-Maria y-you gon-gonna be okay" Donivan says with tears in his eyes, he felt so guilty...
Donivan holded her hand for the whole ride but when they got to the hospital the nurses seperated them..
"PLEASE! let me stay with her.." Donivan says with a worried look in his eyes...
"we will tell you when she's ready for visit, but right now you can't go in because they are going to do surgery on her so please be patient" the nurse says before walking away leaving Donivan alone..
Donivan made his way to the chairs and sat down with his hands on his face
"This is my fault... this is my fault.." Donivan kept repeating to himself until someone  put their hand on his shoulder making him look back just to see Jamary
"It's not your fault, ok?... don't put this presure on yourself" Jamary says while sitting next to him...
Donivan didn't say anything making it kinda akward.
3 minutes later
Jamary was on her phone while Donivan just stared at her and then he remembered the cut that she got earlier so he took his hand and placed it on Jamary's chin making her face him
"Shit, that cut is deep" Donivan says while observing her cut
Jamary's face turned a bright red
"Jamary why you red?" Donivan asks
"Im embarrassed about this cut and you looking at it, like its so ugly" Jamary says while looking down
Donivan lifted her chin up so she could look up at him
"Its not ugly, and there's nothing to be embarrassed about like it suits you, makes you look cool, well you where alway cool but cool-er" Donivan says making Jamary laugh at his silliness
"Awwahaha thanks bruh" Jamary says while giving her famous smile at him
"No problem" He says while smilling back.
Then they both went back to their phones
"Bruh look at this" Donivan says while showing Jamary a meme he found
"Bruuuh HAHAHAHA" Jamary laughs.
Time goes by and Donivan was asleep on Jamary's shoulder
*ring ring*
Jamary looks at her phone and it was Nick... she paused on whether she should answer him or nah..
"Fuck it" she says while gently taking Donivan's sleppy ass off her

"Hey" -J

"Why you call?" -J
"I just wanted to know if you wanted to become friends again" -N
"Woah.. ummm idk" -J
"Its ok, it's your choice and why is there so much noise in the background?" -N
"Im at the hospital" -J
"Why? What happened?!" -N
"....." -J
"Jamary? What happened?" -N
"Maria...she umm..." -J
"She what?!" -N
"She got ran over" -J
"WHAT?!!" -N
"And we are waiting for the Doctor so he can tell us the news and how her conditions are.." -J
"The baby... what about the baby?!" -N
"I don't know, they haven't given us any news yet, but im praying that the baby is okay" -J
"What hospital are you in?" -N
"John Muir Outpatient Center" -J
"Okay I'll be there in a couple of minutes" -N
"Okay" -J
"Bye" -N
"Bye" -J
Jamary made her way back to her chair and sat down
"Who was that?" Donivan asks with a raspy voice
"Oh you awake" Jamary says
"Yaa, but fr who was that?" Donivan asks again
"It was Nick" Jamary says while going on her phone
Donivan had an upset look on..
"So just because he tells Maria the truth he is suddenly the hero and now all of you love him?" Donivan says causing Jamary to have a shocked face on... she looked at Donivan for a while before she spoked but Donivan had already put some loud ass music on so he wouldn't hear what Jamary had to say.
Jamary checked her phone and Donivan noticed Jamary getting up from her seat and going into the elevator.
Donivan took his earbuds out and asked her where she was going but the doors closed
"Fuck" Donivan says while putting his earbuds back in
Outside the hospital
"Finally you made it, I've been waiting for 30 years!" Jamary says causing Nick to snicker
"Haha very funny" Nick says
"Anyways lets go in?" Jamary asks
"Well thats what i came for" Nick says causing Jamary to roll her eyes
"Lets just go" Jamary says while leading the way
When they got in the elevator they where the only ones there and they started fooling around
"Let me give you a piggy back ride" Nick said while getting down so Jamary could get on cuz she was pretry short (5'2)
"Uhh okay" Jamary said while getting on, Nick started going in circles with Jamary on him and this caused Jamary to laugh on how much fun she was having, that was until the elevator came to the floor they wanted and they got out
Nick still had Jamary on his back for some reason.
There was something in the room that caught Nick's attention
"Donivan is here?" Nick asks
"Yea, he was the first one here" Jamary says while waving at Donivan
"He doesn't look to happy Jamary" Nick says while putting Jamary down
"What are you doing here?" Donivan asks
"What? Can i not be here?" Nick says
"I don't want you here" -D
"Well sorry but i dont give a fuck about what you want" -N
"I swear if you don't get out, ima get you out myself" Donivan says while cracking his knuckles that made Jamary worried
"Donivan stop, you two are not fighting here! Or ever again, just stop!" Jamary says making Donivan even more mad
"How do you want me to stop when this bitch fucking ruined everything and this is all his fault" -D
"This is not his fault, or your's, you just gotta understand that this was an accident and accidents happen" Jamary said causing Donivan to walk away
"Donivan you have to get tru this, this is complicating your life!" Jamary yells which made Donivan turn around and walk up to her
"Well you may get tru this but i can't! Why?! Cuz you aren't the one receiving all this hate! You aren't the one suffering from all this, you aren't the one with the broken heart! You just a bitch that got a little cut and is acting like she can fix everything with a couple of words she says! Well guess what? You can't!" Donivan yells before  walking away..
"Wtf is wrong with him" Jamary whispers
"Jamary dont listen to him, he is just stressed" Nick says
"I can't belive im saying this but for the first time i prefer you than him" Jamary says making Nick smile.
10 minutes later
Jamary and Nick where sitting next to each other while Donivan was no where to be seen.
Soon the Doctor came out and Jamary was the first to stand up
"DOCTOR! How is maria?!" Jamary asks
"She is all better now but she did hit herself pretty hard, we just finished stitching some stuff up and she is now being sent to another room which is 9 rooms down that way" the doctors says while pointing at the room
"Thank you but one more question" Jamary says
"What may that question be?" The Doctor says
"How is the baby?" Jamary asks
"The baby is in good condition, i was surprised that there wasn't even a single scratch on her belly" the Doctor says
"Oh thank god" -J
"Can we go see her?" Nick asks
"Of course" the Doctor says while leading them the way
"Maria you have some visit"
"Who?" -M
"Me" Jamary says with a smile
"And me" Nick says kinda embarrassed
From the looks of it.. Maria wasn't really happy to see them..
