chapter fourteen

Maria's pov:
I asked Jamary what did she and Yubi talk about with Nick, she seemed surprise when I asked her that and she made a thinking face.
But she didn't asnwer cuz Mr Enos blew the whistle, meaning class was almost over.. god dammit
"Come on lets go" Jamary says while jogging to the locker rooms, I just follow her thinking on why she didn't tell me...did it had something to do with Nick? Hmm ill find out sooner or later. We made our way to spanish class and Mr Gutierrez greeted us blah blah blah, I put my backpack in ny number where it belongs and Jamary does too, she then goes outside and I asked her what she was doing and she said she was looking for Yubi, which I didn't belive so I just gave her a nod... I keep looking at her till she yells out Yubi's name then she yells another name.. a name of a person I hate... Nick, that got my attention I quicly make my way out and sneek up on Jamary, but Nick noticed.. I heard Jamary say
"I asked Maria if she still liked you and" I didn't let her finish cuz I finished it for her
"And I said no"
I caused them 3 to turn around and they all where surprise, well Jamary was, Yubi was about to pass out from all this drama and Nick... Nick was heart broken.. I could see it in his eyes.. I make eye contact with Nick and just give him a pissed off look while turning around and making my way to class, which Yubi followed but Jamary didn't.. Idk why I was pissed but I was.. 1 minute later the bell rang and Jamary and Nick enter class together, Jamary just patted his shoulder before making her way to her seat, which was next to mine, she gave me a smile before turning around to watch the movie, I just stare at her.. then at the movie.. What a shitty day today
