It was a warm afternoon mid-autumn time and I walked down the forest the auburn leaves crunching under my jet black boots. The sun shone in my chestnut eyes and my loose brown bun tottered side to side with each step. The air was still yet the forest around me was alive and moving around me. I sat on a cliffside the smooth grass weaving in between my fingers like freshly spun silk. I unpacked my tartan blanket and sat admiring the view. "It's beautiful" I whispered to myself and the woods around me. "Like you." A low voice startled me. "Didn't mean to alarm you, I was on a walk and I saw you" he said with an awkward grin. I laughed, "Care to sit?" I said sweetly. He sat next to me, quite close, and it only just dawned on me what he had said. "Did you mean that?" I said shifting my gaze back to him. "of course I did" I smiled as I rested my head on his shoulder looking back at the view. He wrapped his arm around me and I hugged him tighter focusing on him and the world around us.
