No. Did he know that it was illegal in 200 different nations? Well, yes, but that's not the point. When the Weapon of Mass Destruction oozed into three strategically placed holes, the statue spoke:
"You will be punished for buying the dreaded Sprite Cranberry. Initiati-" The statue was cutoff, and the universe exploded.
