A Feeling

"Who is this" Finn teased and elbowed Baylee as Millie sat between Baylee and Sadie.

"It's Millie Brown we go to school together you dork." Baylee said.

"That was rhetorical. And I was just teasing you." Finn said. Baylee rolled her eyes.

"So did you ditch your boyfriend to be here or?" Gaten said. Noah elbowed him.

"You told them?" Millie said at Baylee.

"They won't tell anyone. They could tell you some crazy shit about me I wouldn't have told them if I didn't trust them." Baylee said. 

"Baylee and I met in a bar fight." Noah said raising his hand than dropping it. Millie looked at him.

"My dad's the bartender here. And Caleb's dad is his bestfriend." Noah said and pointed at the bar.

"We come here a lot." Sadie explained. 

"You should start coming here too." Baylee said. 

"I'd love to guys... but incase all of you forgot this coming up weekend is the dance." Millie said.

"We didn't. We were all gonna go as a group." Finn said. 

"Would you maybe come... with me?" Baylee asked.

"You know I want that more than anything... but I already have to go with Jacob." Millie said and took Baylee's hand in hers.

"Why do you stick around him do you like it or something?" Sadie suddenly blurted. 

"No... God no. I just can't risk getting myself hurt by him." Millie said.

"Like Baylee would let him." Sadie spat and got up.

"Sadie..." Caleb got up to go after her.

"I- I should leave." Millie got up but Baylee went with her and stopped her.

"Not to defend her being rough but... I didn't tell them about the baby. I figured that's not my place." Baylee said.

"Would you walk home with me?" Millie asked. Baylee said bye to her friends and went with Millie. They walked hand in hand.

"I bet you're going to look so stunning." Baylee grinned and put an arm over Millie's shoulders. Millie held Baylee's hand that was on her shoulder.

"Not that you don't look stunning all the time. Although it was your personality that won me." Baylee said. Millie turned in front of Baylee and kissed her hard. Baylee wrapped her arms around Millie kissing her too. 

"Jacob is probably at my house so you can leave me here and I can go the rest of the way. He won't be happy if he sees me with you." Millie said. They hugged tight.

"Be careful alright. For me and for baby." Baylee sighed.

"Well well well." a voice came out and Millie jolted away from Baylee.

"Jacob please-" Millie began begging.

He had a lead pipe and was tapping his palm with it as he walked closer with his goons. 

"Jacob please don't touch her! I- I kissed her please it was me!" Millie begged.

Baylee grabbed Millie and shoved her beind her.

"I suggest you keep your distance Sartorius." Baylee warned. 

"Or what?" He laughed.

"Do you want to find out?!" Sadie's voice rang out. Everyone looked and saw Sadie standing with the whole gang behind her. Jacob was outnumbered.

"Fine. Millie. Here now." He said. Millie began walking over and Baylee grabbed her hand.

"Millie... please..." Baylee said.

"If I don't he'll hurt the baby." Millie whispered. Baylee nodded her head no and didn't let Millie's hand go. Millie pulled away and she walked off with Jacob. Finn came over to Baylee as the rest of the group began walking away.

"We'll get her one day." Finn sighed.

"I know... I just hope it won't be too late and that it won't take her too long to realize I'd keep her safe..." Baylee sighed. They all went home. Baylee didn't see Millie all week. Millie's phone never picked up and all of Baylee's texts were unanswered. It was the night of the dance. Sadie had gone over to Baylee's house.

"What in the hell are you wearing?" Sadie snapped.

"I think I'm gonna sit this one out." Baylee said.

"Baylee no! Get up and get dressed." Sadie said.

"Sads why?" Baylee asked. 

"Millie will be there. Trust me. And you're already having a great hair day sooo." Sadie said. Baylee and her laughed a minute. Baylee threw on a normal outfit, nothing too fancy. Black jeans, a black shirt, her black leather jacket she always wore, and black combat boots.

"White shirt." Sadie said. Baylee rolled her eyes and put it on than put her jacket over it.

"Happy?" Baylee teased. 

"Very." Sadie smiled and linked their arms. When they got to the school they met up with the boys outside.

"Damn Finn." Baylee teased him and he blushed like a mad man.

"Shut up." He laughed.

"Y'all are lookin' good all cleaned up." Baylee said.

"I always look good." Gaten joked and gave Baylee finger guns. She gave him finger guns back and they all laughed. 

"We haven't seen Millie yet." Caleb said.

"Alright well lets head in and try to enjoy ourselves for once." Baylee said and they all went in.
