It's been a while since I found out. now the year is nearly over. It went so fast, I can't believe it! We have about a month left of school now. I know I have to tell my friends. I wish they could come too. I'll tell them today, Definitely. Hopefully. Maybe. I don't know, this is so hard for me.

After I'm dressed with clean teeth I go downstairs and shove some toast down my throat while running over to the door, slipping on my shoes and taking my bag of the hook. I swallow down the last of my toast and open te door, yell goodbye, close the door behind me and start walking. Half way down the road, I feel my phone buzz in my pocket so I take it out and read the message I received, it was from Ruby, saying 'Goodbye, poopy, I won't miss you at all today!' Seriously I do not know why when I got this phone she was given my old one. She's too young and immature to have a phone. She's only nine. I love my phone I have now, though.

When I arrive at school, I head straight for form. I know that's where they'll be. When I get to form, all of my friends are sitting around the usual table. some other people in our form are there too, but I don't really know them. I walk over to them and sit down.

"Hi, guys!" I say, trying to sound happy. I'll tell them at break. No! lunch. Yeah that'll be ok, I think.

"Hi, Luna!" my best friend Eleanor says. We have been friends for as long as I can remember. We met in nursery, and have been best friends since.

"Hey Luna!" says Poppy, another one of my oldest friends, not quite as old as Eleanor, though.

"Hiya!" says Zoe

"Hey!" greets Katie. why do I have to move? I'll miss it them all so much!

Ring! Lunchtime is here. Whyyyyyyy? OK tomorrow maybe? No, it has to be today. It's weird, normally I look forward to lunchtime but today I have been dreading it. Ok, calm down. We reach the bench we always sit on and sit down.

"Um... guys I have to tell you something." I say. I hope I don't sound too sad.

"Yes?" said Poppy. I just realized; Where are Emily, Chloe and Daisy?

"Um... well... erm... I'mmovingtoAusralia!" I say, far too quickly. I see everyone's face fall, expect for Eleanor's. She actually looks quite happy. I look at her strangely.

"What?" says Katie sadly and quietly. I feel bad now, but I can't help wondering why Eleanor looks happy.

"Yeah, I know, it's really hard for me. I wasn't even included in the decision!" I complain.

"How come?" asks Poppy.

"I don't know, I think that my parents just thought that this would be best for the family." I say quietly.

"How? Interrupting your education and taking you away from your friends!" says Katie unhappily.

"I know." I say

"Um, I don't know if your parents have said Luna, but, um... well, we are kind of moving too?" Eleanor says. So that's why she's been grinning!

"Really?" I ask. Oh my god my voice just went really, really REALLY high! She nods and I open my mouth in amazement! that's something good thats actually happened. I hug her and say;

"Was it planned or by coincidence?"

"Planned, of course, doughnut!" she answers, grinning.

I wave when I see Emily, Chloe and Daisy walking over. Zoe jumps up, runs over and blurts out;

"Luna and Eleanor are both moving to AUSTRALIA!!!"

"Zoe!" Eleanor said, upset.

"Well, you were about to say anyway!" Zoe says, snappily.

"No need to be stressy!" Eleanor snaps back.

"Oi! break it up, you two!" I say interrupting another of their little fall outs. This happens sometimes. They're still really close though. WOW. This'll all be a distant memory one day.

"What?" Emily says quietly.

"You two are moving?" Chloe adds, looking at Eleanor and I.

"To Australia?" Daisy finishes. Honestly, they could actually be related or something!

"Yeah," Eleanor and I say together. We could be too, actually!

"Jinx!" We say together, again, before everyone bursts out in laughter and nearly forgets everything about the Australia matter. We can carry on being happy 12 year old girls, right, for as long as possible? We can try.
