I stand up an walk cautiously back over to my friends, luckily we were all on the same side of the crack.
"Come on, guys, let's get out of here, it's not long 'till the whole building collapses." I say.
"Ya think?" Says Karmel sarcasticlly.
"C'mon, let's go" says Eleanor. We all run to the door and another massive jolt knocks us to our feet. the crack appears to be getting bigger. we get back to our feet and run as fast as we can out of the room. It all looks pretty normal in the corridor, actually. Another jolt cause me to grab onto the wall. Ruby! Is she alright?
"I have to find Ruby!" I say, suddenly. "come on!" We all run down the corridor to her classroom, geography, and up the stairs to her room. Her room is full of worried looking people some of whom are screaming, and the teacher is desperately trying to keep everything under control.
"Ok, everyone, calm down, it will be ok" he says.
"Ruby, come on, let's go!" I shout over the noise.
"You too, Jasmine." Eleanor says. Ruby and Jasmine get up and walk over to us, and gesture to their other friends, Ellie, Lucy, Kitty, Iona and Georgina (Karmel's sister.) We run down the stairs and outside into the pouring rain. We stop in our footsteps as we see a massive tornado heading straight for us, and we turn back and run inside and into an empty classroom. I duck under an empty table in the corner with Ruby, Eleanor and Jasmine. We are there for a few seconds before Leo, Millie's brother and Monty, Lauren's brother run in and duck beneath the table where Millie, Lauren and Karmel are clinging onto one another for dear life. Then, the strong wind rips away the walls and I can feel my hair whipping against my face. I squeeze my eyes shut and wait to be picked up into the deadly winds. But I don't. I stay where I am. I am still alive. As the wind slowly dissapears, I open my eyes and see the destruction it has caused, it is nothing like I have ever seen before. Rubble lies around the floor, trees and buildings completely flattened.
"Help me!" I hear a struggled call. Who was that? Oh no, where is everyone, it's just me, Ruby Eleanor's and Jasmine. we all start digging around to find everyone else. We manage to get out all my friends out alive, they aren't hurt but they are panicky and stressful. Where are Ruby's friends, though? We all dig around and eventually shift all of the rubble off the other tables, and most of them are fine. Except Lucy. She is badly cut and unconscious.
"Lucy!" Ruby cries, running over and kneeling down. "Please, Lucy, don't die!"
"Ruby, she's alive. She's just unconsius." Darcey explains, Kindly. Lauren pulls out her water bottle and gently rinses her face clean, revealing the deep gash on her forehead.
"She'll need stitches" she says quietly.
"I've got some plasters..." say Karmel. "Oh. I don't have my bag."
"Nevermind, let's get her onto some grass." Mia says. we carry her over and after a while she wakes up.
"Wh-wh-what happened?" She stammers, sounding shocked.
"You were knocked unconscious in the tornado, lucky you're alive. We all are." Molly explains.
"Oh... ok... I feel a bit dizzy." Lucy says, putting her hand up to her head and wincing as she touched the cut. "ow!"
"Yes, you have a very bad cut on your forehead, you'll need stitches." Lauren "Let's get you inside out of this horrible storm" I say, gently helping her up.
"The one fault in your plan, there is no inside?" Karmel points out, looking around.
"Yes there is, look over there, the tornado didn't reach that bit of the school. I say.
"Oh, yeah..."

Inside, we go in an empty room and find a pack of plasters and carefully put the largest size on the massive gash. It is then we realise the room is quickly filling up with water.
