#1 Soulmate Au (Part 3)

          Eventually, we both had to leave the convention area. We bid each other goodbyes and went on our own ways. A few weeks later, It was the start of the new school year and our last year is most likely going to hit Yumoto and I like a bus. Each year we have a handful of transfer students come in, I'm pretty sure we get so many new students because of the multiple dropouts and arrest of my fellow students. Once he got there, I started to walk to the gym with Yumoto talking about our summer and other things. Anyways I was already at the front of the school waiting for Yumoto. We've been pretty good friends for a good while. We met because of our family's we've been pretty close since we were kids. The only difference between our families is that he is frick'n rich. He actually has his own little house but it's on his parent's property, so it's pretty much a fancy shed with 2 floors, not including his basement.

            " How was summer (Y/N)?" Yumoto sounded frustrated at the fact his summer was most likely more boring than mine. His parents usually made him go to summer school no matter what his grades are which really suck because we can't do that much together during the summer. I'm pretty sure he does get free time near the last two weeks before school starts up again but he kinda stayed in his own little world. As we sat down in the gym for the school's first assembly, I was just about to ask him about why he didn't want to hang out with me at the furry convention but I was cut off by our principal introducing himself to the new transfer students and freshmen. Everyone's attention snapped to the front, the freshmen paying way more attention than they needed to while the rest of the students just stared blankly.

           A familiar red string caught my attention and became a bit more prominent. I followed the string to see if it really was Yuki, I was right. The string wasn't as faint as it was at the furry convention... That means her soul mate is also close. Ugh great, I bet you it's some dickwad like the Squidward. Just the thought of some kid holding Yuki's hand is making my god damn blood boil! Think (Y/N), THINK! What can we do to separate those two- you know what? Maybe, just maybe Yuki's soul mate will actually be a good person. Just as my gaze hit the other person attached to the string I almost pounced on them.

Fucking Runo.

           Do I really need to say anymore? Picking two words to describe him is easy, entitled bitch a.k.a the male equivalent to a mom named Karen. God, he's so annoying! His face is so punchable, it's practically begging me to punch it! He is always smirking like he just destroyed you in smash bros and his green eyes just stare into your soul, it's fucking creepy as shit! His black hair always looks like a frying pan with all the grease that's in his hair slicked back, it looks stupid. He really is a male Karen though, both are entitled, and yeah the list goes on.

         I noticed that Yuki waved at me, Awkwardly I returned a short wave and gestured that we should talk after the assembly. She returned a quick nod and smile, turning back to the principle.

5 months, 5 months of nothing done. The only thing I've accomplished was getting closer to Yuki, mostly because in the past month Yumoto has been avoiding me whenever I go near him. He says he has been busy, I don't believe him and I kinda miss him... A few weeks ago, Runo and Yuki also have started talking to each other, It's frustrating as hell watching him eye her up and down. Whenever I see him walking around the halls all high and mighty with that stupid soul string I just want to- God, where would I start? Anyways the school has been hard on me, we are all graduating this year and Yumoto usually helps me with stress be he has been hanging out with me less...

It's now May. Still, nothing, I've done nothing for the last, what 9 months now? Why don't I add another 10 months?! At this rate I'm going nowhere, in fact, I've gone backwards! Yumoto has totally stopped talking to me, I've done nothing to him! Yuki has been avoiding me too, she cut me off from her life completely, when we do run into each other she keeps conversations quick and leaves. I swear, if anyone has been spreading rumours about me to her about me being dangerous I will snap their FUCKING neck! Now she spends all her time with Runo if anything he's the threat to her I bet you he's the one who would be spreading rumours about me. Runo's a charmer alright and I fucking hate it, I've tried everything to get her away from him! Ruining his reputation, anonymous threats, hell I even paid a gang to beat him up to send him a message, but no matter what Yuki would help him out.
