Logan

When he entered a dingy, unused maintenance shed, logan had not expected it to look like this.

He had been expecting dust, old tools, maybe some old bottles and such. Not a makeshift bed, tins of food, water bottles, some clothes, paper, art supplies and a mural similar to Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night painted on the wall. Crammed at the very back of the shed, next to the work-table that was still bolted to the wall, was an ancient armchair with a stack of books on its seat.

Was someone... living here? No. that can't be possible. They might be squatting here but this couldn't be someone's actual house.

Logan squinted at the mural, noticing a faint and scratchy signature at the bottom. He looked closer, making out the mark.

V.B.H

V.B.H? What on earth could that possibly mean?

He leant away from the signature and went back to staring around.

He pushed his glasses further up his nose and his gaze fell upon the stack of books.

Naturally, Logan's nerdy personality simply could not draw him away from the possibility of books.

He stepped over the bed and looked at the covers of the books.

A Collection Of Edward Gorey

A Cricket In Times Square

The Secret Garden

The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe

Alice In Wonderland

The Tell-Tale Heart

Well, whoever was living here certainly seemed to enjoy reading.

Logan quickly snapped a selfie, as the dare required, and was about to leave when he heard someone walking across the roof towards the shed. Before he had time to register what was fully happening the handle started to turn. Logan barely had the time to dive into the corner next to the door before it opened.

Logan held his breath and stayed completely still as the apparent owner entered the shed.
