The game...
You approach the home that seems to match the address on your invite. But you feel dumb-- surely you should have noticed such a huge house in your city/town before now! Had it always been here?

After a moment of recollection that you'd never admit you needed, you take the path and steps up to the front door where someone is waiting. It's a girl, maybe 15-16 years old. Still, she was pretty short, standing around 5 feet tall. The girl wore an elegant attire like yours, her's simple to match her small appearance.

She nodded politely to you with the slightest of motions. "Greetings, my name is Anna. The hostess wishes for me to inform you how glad she is you could make it tonight." the girl spoke so cleanly it was like a recording with false emotional tones. But, as oddly proper as she was, she didn't stop to be interrupted.
Her white gloved hands held up a silver tray, something that looked so natural in her stance you hardly noticed it until she gently gestured it towards you. There were a few masquerade masks lined up neatly, each with different colors and designs. Close to each mask was a little standing note-card that had the same elegant cursive writing on it as your invite. "She also wishes for you to select a mask of your liking and to acknowledge the name-card with it." The girl's voice had a sterner tone to it now. "Please only answer to this as your last name during dinner and do not take off the mask upon entering the home. First names my be exchanged but it is not recommended."
You can find one like you could your dress/suit by googling "masquerade mask (color)" or if you're lazy, you can pick out one of these that I found and liked.
If you don't want one of these, just see them as examples. Keep them simple and covering, no full faces, no large attachments, and no lace- they can't be see-through!

Anna nodded to you with satisfied eyes as you dawned your mask and pocketed the name card. "The others are waiting inside at the table for your hostess to appear. In the meantime, dinner has begun. You may join the fellow guests and I will soon follow upon everyone's arrival. Enjoy."
