Calm music and the sound of little paws walking on the wooden floor fills Taehyung's room. "Tannie-ah!" Taehyung smiles brightly when the pup jumps on top of his bed, he sits criss crossed and pats the duvet for the dog to play with him. A soft bark makes the boy giggles. "Come on boy, let's go for a walk." Yeontan perks his ear up, laying down on the brown book Taehyung holds with him.
"I'm not reading it!" The dog growls and cocks it's head. "No Tan!" Taehyung sighs, curious about what the girl would write down.
"Fine. One page won't hurt.." Taehyung grabs the leather bound book and opens it on a random page.

"Dad never came home. He wasn't here for my birthday.."
Taehyung sighs, deciding that this stuff is personal, flicking through some other pages.

"Cheesy. Ew, and Ji-Eun was straight right?" Taehyung shrugs his shoulders, not even caring, if he'd be honest.

"The new kid got assigned to me to watch over him."
Taehyung's eyes widen, not understanding this part of the diary and reading along.
"He threw my cigarette away and stomped on it! He's kinda cute though.."
"What the-" Yeontan barks, making Taehyung flip further through it. The rest of the pages seem empty, no letter to be seen. "Hm.." Taehyung looks at the last page, a phone number written on it.
A call to let her know i found this can't hurt right?
He dials the phone number, nervousness filling his body. ".. 065..." Every time the phone rings, the boy gets more anxious until the sound of a raspy voice sounds from the other line.
".. Hello?"
"H-hi.. who am i speaking to?" Taehyung nervously bites down on his lip, almost drawing blood.
"Jeon Jungkook. What about you?" Taehyung's heart stops, the Jeon Jungkook writes in diaries?
"H-hey.. it's Taehyung." A soft gulp and light stutter shows the younger's embarrassment.
"H-how did you... get my number?" Taehyung stays silent for a while, thinking about what to say or what to do. He can't tell him 'yo gguk i read your diary, i know all your secrets now, wanna come get it?' Heck no.
"I-i found this leather book and decided to call the phone number on the last page."
Lie, Tae, lie!
"I didn't read anything!"
"What's your address?" Jungkook's voice sounds harsh but soft at the same time, almost sweet.
- Taehyung sits anxious on the couch, what if he accidentally spills one of his secrets and the boy will hate him forever or ruin his schoollife? What if Jungkook will hate him for even touching it.. what if...
The doorbell pulls him out of his trance, he jumps up, tripping over the carpet before reaching the door and opening like nothing happened. "J-Jungkook.. hey."
"Hey." Jungkook steps in and bows at the elder, his hands stuffing back in his pockets after. "I'm sorry for yesterday, i fucked up."
"It's okay, i had fun. Thanks for standing up for me, I appreciate it." Jungkook nods, a shy smile tugs at his lips while he rubs the back of his neck and a blush creeps up his face. "Why did you do it?"
"Did i do what?" Taehyung chuckles, sitting down on his couch.
"Punch that man." Jungkook laughs, shrugging his shoulders.
"I think i didn't like the way he spoke about you, you know.. because you're gay and he disrespected you." Taehyung smiles softly at him, hand on Jungkook's knee.
"Thanks Jungkook. Who would've known that the oh so scary Jeon Jungkook would stand up for someone." Jungkook playfully hit's Tae's arm, bunny smile on display for the boy. "I like your smile."
"Shut up, Taehyung." Jungkook tries to glare at the boy, failing miserably and only looking cuter in Tae's eyes.

Taehyung pinches his cheek and stand up, walking away from him. "W-where are you going?" Taehyung turns around, connecting eyes with him.
"Getting your book.. that's what you came for, didn't you." Jungkook hesitantly nods and plays with his fingers. "Here you go."
Jungkook takes it from the elder and smiles at him. "Thanks. I should go now, it's getting late."
"Fuck no. You're staying. It's almost 12 am, i will not let you walk the street at this hour." Taehyung crosses his arms, cocking one of his eyebrows and glaring at the boy like a mom would do.
"You're not my mother." Jungkook snaps at him, not meant to. He quickly covers his mouth with his palm, immediately apologizing. "I'm s-sorry... i didn't mean to.."
Taehyung chuckles. "It's fine, please stay." Jungkook nods, knowing that he shouldn't go outside in this weather and at this hour. "Did you eat already?" Jungkook shakes his head, taking off his leather jacket and hanging it over a chair.
"I didn't.." Taehyung takes some rice out of the cabinet and starts cooking for the boy, meat and vegetables appear out of no where and the rooms fills with the delicious smell of herbs and seasoning. "That smells really good, Tae!"
The two already forgot about what Jungkook came for in the first place. The leather bound diary sticking out of his bag on the table isn't important to them anymore, what matters is their company and friendship that's building up.
- "So she really got crazy on you just because you talked to me? Jungkook nods, happily chewing on his food before speaking up.
"I broke up with her due to her annoying behaviour and she begged me to fuck her."
'Yeah i read that..' "Taehyung?" The boy snaps his head towards Jungkook, a blush on his cheeks. "Are you okay?" Taehyung nods, trying to hide what he was thinking of.
"I should go wash up and sleep. You can sleep in my bed, i'll take the couch."
"N-no, why? I'll sleep on couch, it's no problem. Really, i won't let you sleep on the couch in your own house." Taehyung nods and wishes the boy a good night after telling him where the extra clothes and stuff are, walking to the bathroom to take a shower.
