It has been officially 24 hours since Candace had her attack.

And about ten blood bags..or less.. I stopped counting after three!

Because she's ingesting B positive blood like crazy.

And B positive is so good.

Xavier and Stefan have been hanging out.

Candace is not pale anymore. Her color is coming back, meaning her life is too. Her heart rate is going faster.

I went downstairs and saw Caroline enter the house.

" Hello, Blondie. " I said

" Damon. " she said

We walked to the living room.

" I heard Candace had a vampire attack. " Caroline said

" Yeah, her brother attacked her in her sleep. " I said

" And I assume that you have killed-"

" Just snapped his neck hours ago, and now he's hanging out with Stef, doing, I don't know. "

" Hi, I'm Xavier Hawthorne, Candace's brother. " Xavier said as he offered his hand to Caroline

" Hi, I'm Caroline Forbes. Damon's, friend." Caroline said as she took Xavier's hand

I got myself one glass of bourbon and sat down the couch.

" So, since we are still looking for Candace's father, we need help. " Stefan said

" And you asked for Blondie? " I said

" No. She came here for? " Stefan said

" I was just visiting! " Caroline said

" Okay, okay. Since we need help, I was thinking, maybe we can use Xavier's help. " Stefan said

" My help? " Xavier said

" Yes, since you have been with Candace for so long. " Stefan said

" Well, I have no idea how am I going to help. "

Stefan smiled.

" Easy, give me your phone. " Stefan said

" Where are you going with this? " I said

Xavier handed the phone.

" Do you have Patrick's number? " Stefan said

" So, wait, that's how I can help? " Xavier said

" Pretty much. I mean, that first and let's see if we still have use of you. " I said

" Then what you're gonna kill him? " Caroline said

" It depends. " I said

" Damon, you are not-" Caroline was cut off.

" Shh! Wait, do you hear that? " Stefan said

Heartbeat.

Going stronger.

Heavier breaths.

Candace's-

" Candace's waking up. " I said

We looked at each other then we whooshed upstairs.

Candace is gaining consciousness.

Then her eyes opened.

" Candace? " I said as I held her hand.

She looked at her surroundings.

Looked at me, Stefan, Xavier and Caroline.

" Candy? " Xavier said

Candace blinked then frowned.

" Ugh, I'm sorry, am I supposed to know all of you? " she said
