Ever since the fortune tellers word. King Rhoam asked the Sheikah about their technology. They said that they had advanced technology that helped out with Ganon's revival 10,000 years ago. But, according to the Sheikah, their technology was banned after Ganon vanquished. They said that the people of Hyrule were afraid of their technology, and the King at the time forced them to let go of their research. It had caused them to separate. You either got to go live with the other Sheikahs in the calm and peaceful Kakariko Village, or traitorously turn against the King and Sheikah's and going the Yiga Clan. King Rhoam knew that the technology would help out in me battle, so he unbanned the technology for now. Since these ancient relics would take time to retrieve, they needed to get a head start. Queen Zinnia also played a role here. It was her task to plan all of Zeldas future trips to the springs. She was to teach Zelda her Family's power. Rhoam told everything to Zelda about the Sheikahs technology. Even though she was young, her eyes widened showing that she might have a knack for science and research. She thought if something messes up in the battle, like if she doesn't summon her power and fails. Zinnia had faith and trust in the fortune teller. "Zelda my love, it will all go well in the end." with a relaxed smile on her face everyone she was asked that.
The monster attacks are getting worse and worse every year. More monsters suddenly appear for no reason and attack people. This was happening all around Hyrule. Today, the fortune teller was coming to tell them about the monsters. Rhoam welcomed the fortune teller to come in anytime to inform his family about the preparations.
Just waiting like always, the King and Queen were waiting for the fortune teller along with Zelda. Ever since Rhoam told her about the ancient relics, she begged to listen to the tellings. Zinnia agreed at first, but Rhoam said that if she can be quiet the whole time then she can join.
The fortune teller came in. "Your majesty's, Princess Zelda." said he fortune teller unpacking her stuff. "So what do you have to say for us today. As you know the Sheikah Tribe with the help of a few Hylians started an excavation around Gerudo Canyon. We still don't know where to find the one around Zora's Domain.". The fortune teller thought while looking at the ball. There would be a color change, making a vision appear. She was the only one who could see these visions. "The one around Zora's Domain does not needs to be excavated at all since this Divine Beast is under water." "What about the other two? Can you see where they are?". If Ganon has to be weakened, the help of the powers within ALL four beasts. After looking for where the Beasts were last left 10,000 years ago it took a few minutes. "The last two Divine Beasts. The first one will take a Group of Gorons since it will be located inside the Volcano known as Death Mountain. The other Divine Beast which reminds you of the inhabiters of the Region is located in somewhere either in the Tabantha or Hebra Region.". Zinnia thought "The inhabieters of the Hebra and Tabantha Region. Hm... think Zinnia....First there are a couple of Hylian settlements and the Rito, RITO, the Divine Beast must be something related to the Rito.". "It's a RITO." "Correct you majesty, but Ritos are also known as birds. I suggest that you Rhoam to inform the leaders to search around the area. Now we move on to the Monster Attacks on the rise. The average of the past month is more than the average of last year." "Any advice you give us? About 6 weeks ago I got a report from Tabantha Village saying that the night before I got the report, a group monsters had trespassed the Village and damaged few parts of it." "For the safety of Travelers and Villagers...putting people as guards at night around the village would help alert others about the monsters. For children who always go play outside in the woods, tell them to play within the village. For the people at Hateno, and Luren... tell them to stay out of the beaches since I see monsters making settlements. For the travelers, convince them to stay off the road at night since monsters mostly come out. For here at the Castle Town. I want you to close the front gates at night and at all exits to be secured by guards.". Rhoam nodded in response. It was about 20 minutes later since the fortune teller was finished for what she had to say. Zinnia was last to exit the room. Before the fortune teller could go anywhere she last said to Zinnia with a smile "It was an honor meeting and serving you you majesty.". Later when they went to eat Zinnia told Rhoam what she last said. Rhoam said that since she was very old now, she is yet not retiring.
About a week passed, and Zinnia still wondered what the fortune teller meant. The next day, she woke up expecting it to be a normal day. She saw that Rhoam wasn't in the bed which meant that he just made his way to the dining hall. Like every other morning, Zinnia went to Zeldas room to wake her up and announce that breakfast will be served soon. When she entered Zeldas room she saw that she wasn't in her bed. She bet that Rhoam might've woken her up today. Finally when she arrived to the dining hall the food has been served. Rhoam and Zelda were acting very polite since they hadn't ate at all. "Good morning mother. We waited for you so we can all eat as a family." said Zelda putting a happy expression on her face. "Oh thank you Rhoam thank you my little bird. You guys know that you didn't had to do any of this for me." "Well you work hard every day and I know that we should have some family time." "My little bird that's the sweetest and wisest thing I've ever heard from you.". In he middle of eating, Rhoam started up the conversation again "So has you guessed about what the my advisor said to you.". Zinnia just remembered about the strange saying that the fortune teller said to her. "Sorry I was very caught up with scheduling the trips to the springs and paper work in the past week that I suddenly forgot about the fortune tellers saying." "Well she cant be retiring. I mean if she is she would have to notify me at once so I can let her go. Or what if she's done with fortune telling." "Finish? Why would she finish? I mean she's already told us what we need to know what what we should do, but I know that there's more that she must tell us in the future.".
After the Royals were done eating breakfast, Zinnia wanted to spend some alone time with Rhoam. They walked around the Castle Courtyard where a guard made their way to them exhausted and out of breath. "Your majesties, I had a rumor of a Yiga spy being in disguise in the area.". Zinnia and Rhoam eyes opened up and then gave a look to each other. A Yiga spy made their way to Hyrule Castle once and for all. It's just a rumor after all, bruh maybe it can be true since it's not funny to gossip and joke about stuff like this. What if the spy found out about Calamity Ganon, the figure that the tribe worshiped? Or what if the spy does something bad to Zelda or Zinnia?. "I want you to call all guards and let them be stationed all around Hyrule Castle at the entrances and exits of the place. Including rooms. At the Castle Town I want you to set up guards at all areas including alleys, roads and plazas. Keep an eye on everything and if you see something suspicious report it to me." said Rhoam giving off a serious look. The King went down to the guards chamber and told them everything they heard. The asked three of the guards to assign them to him, Zinnia and Zelda.
So far there hasn't been anything suspicious though out the day. Since Yiga spies are so sneaky, one of them managed to use their powers to sneak into the kitchen before dinner. The Yiga Clan knew that the Hyrulean Royal Family was going to try to resurrect Ganon once again. They did not want this to happen again. So they sent one of their spies to try and murder either Princess Zelda the one who will seal Ganon or Queen Zinnia the one who will teach Zelda the power. After breakfast, the Yiga spy captured and hidden the head chef in a hidden room in the Castle for a day. When the cooks came back in for dinner, they had no idea what was happening and they didn't knew about the Yiga Spy. "Hey guys I found this nice sauce at my house." said the Yiga spy holding up a bottle of a brownish golden sauce. "I was thinking in tonight's dinner we should try and add the sauce into the dishes.". The cooks thought for a second, Queen Zinnia was the one who decided what she and her family wanted to eat. At the same time, they knew that they wanted to spice things up, after all he was one of the best chefs in Hyrule and he got nominated many times in the past. So they decided that maybe the food would have a better tested with the sauce. But neither did the cooks know that their head chef was a traitor and a spy. Neither did they know that the sauce was made by the Yiga Clan which contained a deadly poison in it.
When dinner arrived, the Royals made their way to the Dining Hall also accompanied by their assigned guards. They were having a classic Hylian meal. Steak with vegetables and rice. When the cooks arrived so did the head chef. "Your majesties, you all look like you were all stressed. My mother used to make this special sauce that helped me relax. I'm sure that you would all like it." said the head chef in disguise whom was opening the jar of the spiked sauce. "King Rhoam would you like to try some." "No thank you, I'd rather stick to the old fashioned steak sauce." said Rhoam who eyes squinted after the head chef passed. "Princess Zelda, would you like some sauce.". Zelda examined the sauce, in her opinion she thought the sauce might've been made years ago and that it wasn't good since it looked like mush. "No thank you." then the chef made the way to Queen Zinnia. "Your highness, would you like to try my-" "I would love to try your mother's special sauce.". Right after the Yiga spy/head chef left the dining hall and back to the kitchen he was elated. His plan of putting the poisoned sauce into one of the Royals plate was successfully achieved. By the time the cooks were done with the dishes they were done for the rest of the day. The head chef left he accidentally left his sauce at the kitchen, but he didn't really care he knew that it would make a good use again in the future. He noticed that all alleys had been guarded making it hard to find a place where he can report back. He thought of maybe trying to make an excuse saying that he noticed something. "Sir I think I saw something chasing me." said the spy. The guard quickly ran out of the alley to check. Since Yiga Clan members are very fast and swift, the spy took off his chef disguise and teleported back to his headquarters. When he returned he saw his master waiting for him. "How did it go? Did you managed to murder a Royal?" "Master..." said the spy knelling down. "I ended up putting the poison into the Queens platter." "And how did it go?" "Is not sure but she founded it good. I expect it to kill her sometime around today or tomorrow.". The Yiga Clan leader starting laughing vitally. The plan had went along and worked.
Later that night, Zinnia started feeling a stomach pain. She felt like if she was gonna explode. She quietly made her way to the bathroom. When she was in there she tried to throw up, but no matter how hard she tried, it couldn't come out. When she came back her body was hurting and she couldn't feel anything. She didn't want to wake up Rhoam especially since he had been working hard in the past days. She didn't want to call maid in because she knew that they would wake up Rhoam. For the rest of the night Zinnia could sleep. On that morning, instead of a beautiful sunrise with orange, blue, and pink hues it was a blue and gray color. When Rhoam got up he looked and checked at his wife. He instantly noticed that her face was full of sweat that covered her grayish whiteish face. He put his hand against her forehead and it was at a high temperature. When he touched her hands they were freezing cold. Zinnia could barely see. She couldn't feel her blood pressure boiling or moving inside her. "This is it..." Zinnia thought "After 42 years of life my time has come to an end. It is time to say one final farewell to my loving family and kingdom.". Rhoam was panicking he didn't know what to do. He pressed his ear against Zinnias chest to hear her heartbeat. After listening to the heart beat, he could tell that the heart was slowly failing. His wife was in the middle of dying for no reason.
"Rhoam... Rhoam." said Zinnia opening her eyes and holding her arm out to hold his hand. "I believe that my time has finally come. Don't worry about me everything will be alright. If you can please bring me Zelda I would like to see her one last time.". Rhoam at a fast speed made his way down the all and took a left into the hall which lead to Zeldas room. He shook her up telling her the news which made her shocked. By the time they both arrived at the room they saw their wife and mother in the bed with a gray background that the sky made. "Zelda..." chuckled Queen Zinnia "Ever since you came to this world six years ago I had always loved you ever since. My little bird...I'm sorry that I won't be here with you to fights Ganon. I'm sorry that we won't be able to spend more time together than I expected. I want you to know that I will always love you no matter what.". Zelda was saddened after what her mother said "Mother What abou-" "Zelda my love...trust me it will all go well in the end. Stay strong my little bird" she said putting a hand in Zeldas cheek. Then her hand touched Rhoam which reminded her of the past 27-28 years ago. "Rhoam remembered when we met at a time like this either in 27 or 28 years ago." "Yes my love it was the first time we ever talked to each other in person." "Thank you Rhoam for everything you've done in my life. Thank you for being there for me, for comforting me. Thank you for making me the happiest woman in all of Hyrule.". Tears started to form in Rhoam eyes. He really remembered all the times he was with Zinnia. He played a huge role in most of Zinnias life. Then Zinnia mentioned all of her friend outside of the Castle. "Urbosa... it's a shame that she couldn't be here. Please tell her that we would always remain as friends to the very end. Tell her that it was an honor for her and me to become friends in the first place. Kai and Leuc.... They were friends of us right Rhoam. They were also there for both of us. Tell them thank you... for everything they've done to us. Last Sanyo, tell him that I'm very sorry that I couldn't respond to his last message. Please also tell him to always be himself and be that happy boy I met twelve years ago.". The response of all of that was an "Ok".
Moments after what Zinnia last said... she passed away in front of the two out of the three people she loved the most.
