It had been three months since Connor had arrived to the school and he had adjusted well. He became one of the most well liked people there. He had many girls attempt to woo him in hopes that they could even get so much as a hug from him. It was almost as if he had forgotten about (Y/N). He was now one of the fastest on the track team, valedictorian, and was deemed the hottest boy in school, placing Gavin second. "Hey (Y/N), I heard Gavin is throwing a party tonight, now I know you don't like him but you don't have to follow him around or anything." Tina said in an attempt to lighten the mood.

"Wasn't invited." (Y/N) stated. Tina rolled her eyes.

"I was and it's a plus one invite. You're coming with me." (Y/N) groaned, even if she was in the same building as Gavin, somehow he knew and was able to find her and annoy the shit out of her. Being at his house gave him the advantage. "And I know it's late notice but it's tonight. Besides, your parents are gone and you can go out wherever for however long you want."

    "Fair point."

"And you may even meet a cute boy." She said as she winked at (Y/N). It was her turn to roll her eyes. As they left their spot in the hallway (Y/N) spared one more glance in Connor's direction in hopes he would be looking in the same way. She didn't want to admit it but she had developed something of a crush on the boy. Ever since he had first stepped foot into the building there was something about him. Something she could never quite place but she knew it was there.

The rest of the day was uneventful, same as usual. When (Y/N) had gotten home she decided she might as well get ready for the party. Knowing it wasn't anything fancy she had opted for an old band tee, denim shorts, converse, a red flannel, and a dark smokey eye. She still wanted to look presentable. Just as she was going to make her way to the kitchen to grab something to eat before the party Tina had walked in the door to inform her it was time to leave.

By the time they got there the party was in full swing. Plenty of horny teenagers grinding on each other in the middle of the living room. The music was deafening, to the extent that you had to yell to be heard by whomever you were talking to. (Y/N) decided to find a spot on a wall and watch the spectacle. "Parties not really your thing, huh?"

"Y'know Connor, if you wanted to mock me you could've waited until I could hear you clearly." She spat at him. She had long since lost Tina to the crowd so there was no one to hold her back.

"Close but not quite." He said taking a sip of his drink. When she looked over to make sure she was talking to Connor she was almost 100% certain she was. He had his chestnut hair, cute little freckles, porcelain skin, and brown- His eyes were blue. "Common mistake."

    "So you're the other Anderson."

"The other Anderson? What, is that like the reject Anderson?" He asked looking down and cocking an eyebrow at her. "Can't say I've been called 'the other Anderson' before."

"Well I really only know Connor." (Y/N) explained. This other Anderson seemed to have an air of cockiness about him, but he was also humble. A fair balance. Even though he looked exactly like Connor, save the eye color, he somehow was more attractive. His piercing blue eyes felt like they were staring right through her.

"What do you say we go outside so we can better hear each other for a more formal introduction?" He suggested. (Y/N) agreed and followed him out to the back yard that was almost empty. There were a few people in the pool and a small crowd under an elm tree that was lit with string lights. Now that she could get a better look at him in the slightly brighter lights she was able to see what he was wearing.

He had a tight fitting black turtleneck and dark jeans. She noted that he was also taller than Connor was. "Sorry for confusing you with Connor back there. My name's (Y/N)."
