Chelsea lay in the hospital bed as Iain stood outside. He stood watching in shock and horror as she fought for her life. Iain couldn't believe what had happened and what Rita has done to her. Iain walked out of resus as he ran his hands through his hair. He couldn't loose Chelsea. She was his world and the mother to his kids. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and grow old with her and now he was fearing that he was loosing her. He looked to his hands and frowned as he realised that he was covered in her blood. He sat down outside of resus as Madison walked out and sat down next to him. She looked to him and smiled as she rested a hand on top of his "she's going to be okay. She's a fighter. She's lost a lot of blood but other than that she will be fine" Madison said as Iain started to cry. He wiped away the tears from his eyes and sighed.

"I really thought I had lost her, I really thought that Rita had killed her" he said as she looked to him and smiled "I know and so do I but she is finer. Connie has placed her into a medically induced coma for now, she's lost a lot of blood and will need s transfusion but other than that. She will be fine" Madison said as Iain looked to her and smiled slightly "I could of lost her and Rita needs to pay for this, I won't let her get away with it. She tried to take Ariel from me and almost took Chelsea and there is no way I am standing by and watching" Iain said as Madison looked to him and smiled "you know what to do"Madison said as Iain looked to her and nodded.

Iain sat in the ambulance bay with chase and Ariel. Ariel looked to him and frowned "is mummy dead" she asked as he looked to her and frowned as he lifted her onto his knee and smiled as he hugged her close "no, mummy is in the hospital. She's a little unwell but she is going to be fine" "she was bleeding a lot" Ariel said as Iain looked to her and smiled "I know but it's going to be okay. She's going to get better and before you know it she will be tugging you into bed in no time, I promise and the person who did this isn't going to get away with this" Iain said as Ariel looked to him and nodded.

Iain sat in the hospital room next to Chelsea as Rita stood in the doorway smirking "wouldn't it be a shame if she never woke up" she sniggered as two police officers walked in causing Iain to smirk "Mr Dean, you called us" "yes this is the woman who kidnapped my daughter and who is responsible for stabbing my fiancée" he said "Rita freeman, you are under arrest for kidnap and attempted murder anything you do say will be used in court" an officer said as he put Rita in handcuffs. Rita looked to Iain "I did it for us iain, I love you" she yelled as she was pulled away. Iain looked to Chelsea and smiled as he took a hold of her hand and smiled "it's all going to be okay babe. I promise" he said hoping she would wake up and they could go on with their life's
