Hey munchkins! I am back! hope you guys like the chapter!

~Ray~

Two days went really fast. It was the day we were leaving for the tour as Sync 4's opening act and fortunately their first show was in London. In all honesty, I wasn't looking forward to it. I mean, number one, they were our rival band. Number two, Dylan seems to always have a problem with them. Number three, I wasn't having a good feel about this. Number four, We were forced into this. and lastly, number five Zayn Malik. The twat that he was. I was hoping that things will eventually get better and we would get over and be done with this opening act shit. I slipped my Converses on and rushed out of my flat and hopped into the drivre's seat of my BMW and rushed off towards the arena we were to perform in. It was huge and I took a minute's time to gape at the stadium. It was a f**king stadium tour. As per what I had googled this was their third tour. I looked at it and finally parked backstage where Mandy was waiting for me with her eyebrows, raised.

Shit! I had run late...yet again.

"Ray?" Mandy spoke sounding a bit disappointed and shook her head. "You're late for the soundcheck!"

I looked at my feete as I gently kicked the gravel. "Sorry!"I apologised.

"You're lucky that you are my favourite of the band," she smirked. My mouth formed a 'o' before I smirked too. "Finally you get the balls to admit it!'' I sassed. She chuckled and motioned me inside the satdium. I chucked my bag on the couch in the corner of our dressing room and carefully placed my guitar against the wall.

"Finally!" Leanne rolled her eyes as she continued her vocal exercises. Dylan gave me a small smile as Casey continued to tune her guitar giving me a small nod. I nodded back when Drew entered the room with a small smile and a cup of coffee. "Hey, dork!"

''Hey loser!'' I greeted back and hugged him. He laughed and raised the cup. I gr abed and took a sip and handed it back to him. He pouted but sipped the rest of the coffee. Mandy walked in and gave a smile. "Guys, time for soundcheck!'' she pointed onto the stage. I grabbed 'Button' my guitar and headed onstage and my luck is never good that I hand to run into the one person I would love to avoid for the rest of my life. Zayn. Yes, he was good looking. Yes, he was hot. Yes, He was is in a f**king boy band. Yes, he was filthy rich and he was on a stadium tour, for freak's sake. But, that doesn't seem to change the fact that he gave me a bad vibe.

"Rachael!" he greeted and gave me a professional nod. I groaned and tried walking away when he spoke. "Won't apologize?'' he questioned and raised his eyebrow. I shrugged. "What for?'' I asked.

He rolled his eyes and moved away giving me space to walk. I walked on stage and saw that everybody had already taken their positions. I shook my head and walked over to the mic that had my name. I took deep, calming breaths and looked at Drew who was smiling at me. I nodded and turned to Casey who was as tnesed as i was. Eventhough we had done a headline tour and we had super supportive fans, the nerves always got the best of us. I gently reached out and sqeezed Casey's hand because we've been together for 2 years and Casey was the one who could never tolerate the pressures of being in a band. She smiled a forced smile and I returned before turning to Dylan and giving him a small nod. He smiled and strummed his guitar in return. I looked away as I took a deep breath claming myself. I let my inner popstar take over and soon enough my fingers made thier way through my ponytail as I yanked my hair out of the high ponutail. I ruffled my hair up and strummed my guitar when Leanne started announcing. 'This is 'Blow' from our album 'Rebel'" she announced and she opened the song.

'Dance' she sang. Her voice and pitch were perfect.

~Zayn~

One thing I noticed about 'the Serendipity' was that they did not work like a stereotypical girl-boy band. The girls were the lead. Rachael was the lead singer. They boys just harmonized and played for the girls but they sounded so good. Casey started singing and she was the example for the proverb, 'don't judge a book by it's cover'. He voice was so powerful in contrast to her small body frame and good girl looks. Her voice was so rebellious.

'Back door cracked

We don't need a key

We get in for free

No VIP sleaze.'

It was Leanne who took over the mic this time. He voice was sexy and raspy. It sounded good and over all her voice was incredible. She swayed her hip to the beat of the song as her hands played along the keys of her key board.

'Drink that Kool-Aid

Follow my lead

Now you're one of us

You're coming with me'

Though the other girls sounded beautiful, I was anticipating Rachael. She was so closed and never gave anything about her, away. She was a puzzle waiting to be solved. It was her voice that I was waiting to her most of all. When she opened her mouth, my breath was taken away. Her voice was husky and at the same time it was high. She sounded like a walking dynamite.

'It's time to kill the lights

And shut the DJ down

This place about to

Tonight we're taking over

No one's getting out'

Slowly they sang together, the boys and the girls. The chorus was powerful and hit every person there like a bomb. They did sound incredible, live. The Serendipity girls did a signature step and danced like a dream. The boys and I were born with two left feet, I guess. I just couldn't take my eyes of Ray as she pushed he guitar behind her and moved, swooning with a slightest of swag.

'This place about to blow, blow

This place about to blow, blow

This place about to blow, blow

This place about to blow, blow

This place about to blow, blow'

The rest of the song was a breeze, with them singing and dancing like small kids. It was refreshing to watch them perform the way they did. Soon enough their setlist of six songs were over and they walked off stage. Dylan glared at us. The usual. The boys and I were quite immune to it by now. I walked over to Rachael.

"That was good singing, Rachael," I said. She rolled her eyes. Typical Rachael. Being quite observant, I've noticed her roll her eyes may times.

"Ahan! Wish I could say the same for you Malik!" she sassed.

"Eager to hear me, Evans?" I questioned as a smirk tugged my lips.

She laughed. "You wish, I did! Go! Lets see if you can keep it real!" she challenged effortlessly. Maybe it sounds crazy but that's what I liked about her. She challenged me. I was her rival, the main act for the tour she was opening for, a senior in the music industry, a hot guy, girls and even guys drooled for and yet, here she was challenging me, treating me like any other guy or even worse that she had treated any other guy she knew.

She was bringing out the best side of me. I smirked.

"I am keeping it real, babe!" I said and tugged on her lower lip that she had been biting without realising. She rolled her eyes and gestured me towards they stage.

Now that's what we called show time!
