~Ray~
I took a deep breathe and grabbed the tabloid from the floor and before opening it I looked over at Dylan who was already glaring at me. I slowly opened the tabloid and gasped when I saw the front cover.
"I- I-" I stuttered but words failed to escape my mouth. They sound so strangled, so unlike me.
There was a picture of Zayn and I in quite a compromising position, like we were about to kiss. It would've seemed romantic in other cases, but it was me. I was in that picture with a guy I've barely known for 3 weeks.
"Care to explain, Ms.Evans?" Jason sneered, "there's more in the inside of the tabloid!"
"I don't know! I-" I choked.
"What were you and Zayn up to, uh?!" He questioned.
"I-"
"Nothing! ab-f**king-solutely nothing! I bet she attempted to kiss me in that picture!" Zayn spoke.
My eyes widened and I glared at him. Yes, I was drunk the previous night. Yes, I didn't remember one f**king thing that happened. But that didn't mean he could accuse me of trying to kiss him.
"Zayn?!" Liam tried to stop him.
"No! I just-" he continued when Jason spoke.
"Are you two going out? Dating or something?"
"I-" I started when Zayn cut in.
"No way! You seriously think I would date bitch like her?" he quizzed. My vision blurred with burning tears.
Same words! No! It did not get me! No!
"She's a attention seeking bitch! That's what she is!" he snarled, glaring at me.
No! I'm fine! I'm okay!
My eyes watered more and more with every word he spoke.
No, I didn't have feelings for him but it still f**king hurt.
"Zayn? Please, stop!" Niall chided.
"Look what the both of us are into!" he spat.
"Zayn, you were drunk too, last night. You can't simply blame her for everything, atleast not for what happened yesterday!" Liam said.
I took a few steps back before I finally took off, running outside the room. I slowly slid down the wall, pulling my knees to my chest.
You're not going to cry! No, Ray! You're stronger than this! No!
"Ray?" Drew spoke as he sat next to me. I plunged into his chest, shaking slightly.
"Drew? Am I a bitch?" I asked, my voice soft.
He rubbed my back. "No, Ray! You're anything but a bitch! You're a sweetheart, Ray!"
I scoffed. "Doesn't seem like it!"
"Ray?" he spoke in 'why the f**k are you talking like this?' tone.
"I'm fine, Drew. I want to know what this meeting is about! Lets go!"
"Ray!"
"I'll see you inside!" I said and gave him a fake smile as I walked in.
All eyes stared at me while I confidently strutted forward and took my seat.
"Ms.Evans?"
"Ray! Call me, Ray!" I told Jason. He nodded.
"Have you checked you Twitter? Zayn's notifications have been blowing up," he informed me.
I shook my head is denial. "Actually, no."
"It's everywhere. People in gossip shows on every channel are talking about the two of you. Tons of people are supporting you," Mandy spoke this time. She looked at me with a look of sympathy.
"That doesn't make me feel better, Mandy!" I muttered while Zayn scoffed.
"Ray," she sighed.
"What should I do? Tell me?" I asked.
Drew, who was sitting next to me pressed my shoulder in a comforting gesture.
"It has actually boosted up your fame level along with Sync 4's,"
"Cut the chase, Amanda!" Zayn said, disrespectfully.
"This fake thing will do good for both the bands!" She continued.
I furrowed my eyebrows. "What's that you're trying to say Mandy?"
"The Managements have always wanted the best for their clients," Jason interrupted.
Louis snickered. "They sure have!"
"Louis!" Jason glared at him. Louis rolled his eyes and kept fiddling with his phone.
"As I was saying the managements have always wanted the best for their clients and so we are thinking," he trailed off.
"Thinking of what, Jason?" Zayn questioned.
"Of umm.. a PR relationship!"
"A f**king what?" Zayn and I chorused.
"Zayn!" Jason scolded.
"A PR relationship?" I repeated.
"Yeah! Zayn and you are gonna have to fake date!"
